Howdy, Chaos.
I got around to having an evening off to write my profile (located here, though don't feel like you have to read it all) so I believe everything is in order for me to start writing around here but I have to say I'm a little overwhelmed by all the possibilities. I thumbed through some of the factions and I'm not entirely sure where my character would best fit. His first story arc will likely involve coming to terms with who and what he is. He is a Yuuzhan Vong, though the only reason he even knows what he is comes from the fact the first people he encountered after waking up on an abandoned satellite called him a Vong. Because of this, he's utterly removed from his cultural heritage, he has no clue about Vong religion or practices, has no feelings one way or another about technology and doesn't have any of those nasty guilty feelings about his ancestor's genocide. I fully intend to explore those things later, but for now I figure he has to get his feet on the ground.
Currently he's solo-manning a stolen ship with very little knowledge (read: drifting aimlessly through space) and I figure he could easily end up crashing somewhere or any number of other things (it's not that important). My question then follows: Would anybody like to write with me? Are there any upcoming Dominions or Invasions suitable for signing up to partake in as a springboard for finding other writers? Is there a place for a confused Vong in this crazy workaday Galaxy? Something something next episode of Dragonball Z.
