Description: No one knows where the brilliant (sarcasm) idea to combine a fusion cutter and a sword came from, but here it remains. The Moonlgiht Blade is roughly just a wide, flat quarter-circular blade with dozens of small fusion cutter nozzles (only about the equivalent of three or four actual cutters) down its length on both sides, facing the direction of the blade. With the push of a heavy button on the hilt, the blade's emitters can be activated before or during a swing. This spews jets of hot fire from the blade that nearly double its size in dimensions, capable of burning or scorching lightly armored targets and, with progressive attacks, cutting through heavy plating and hard targets. Its primary drawbacks, aside from emitting a dangerously hot plume of flaming gasses, is its inability to function at maximum strength for long durations - tested to run out of fuel while being left on consistently at full strength after about a fifty seconds. There is also the minor hazard of the relatively small fuel cell fixed into the bottom of the hilt which, if shot or ruptured, could potentially explode in the user's hand and cause significant damage and burns.

The cortosis dev thread is borderline, but for limited production I'll allow it. Oh, and using this will kill you in about eighteen different ways, but that's your business.
