Intent: To create a sutible sword for Akuma as an assassin, as well as dedicating her life to the art of killing.

Strengths:
- When touching the blade, or even getting a scratch, the Devaronian Blood-poison causes immense pain.
- Trimanitum Alloy allows for a shaper, stronger blade that resists dulling, and having a high Tensile strength.
- The Duranium was extremely durable and light. Used for the core within the grip weapon, as well as the guard should someone think about sliding a weapon, or lightsaber down, it will protect the hands for one glancing blow. Wood is used for the actual grip, as well as the scabbard.
- Shell Spider silk wrapped around the hilt to provide comfort. as well as be used as battlewraping.
- Dantari, or Dantooine Crystal is used in the process of Force Imbuedment. This aids in the recovering of force energies when using the blade. (Canon effect)
- Lightsaber resistance, Deflects blaster fire, Can cut through most materials except for reinforced metals like durasteel, and Destroys spirits (Canon effects)
- Cleaning and maintaining the blade is a b*#%@ because of the Devaronian Blood-poison. As well as the blade being incredibly sharp.
- The Devaronian Blood-poison only takes effect with skin contact. Otherwise, strikes from the Katana are like any other sword.
- When in a Yalsmari bubble, the sword literally becomes a normal sword. No lightsaber resistance or blaster deflection.
- A lightsaber's weight is all in the hilt. Thus, the weapon requires very little strength or feness to swing the blade in very simplistic forms. With a Katana, the blade's weight is along the entire blades length. Thus making it more difficult to swing.
- Length makes it hard to conceal the weapon.
- When held, the weapons blade simply glows a crimson hue. When using force powers, a purple/black smoke aura coates the blade. Making it a tell tail sign of her using the force. Also makes it harder to sneak around when carrying the weapon.
A sword made for the purpose of assassinations, as well as general battle. The blade is made in the same fashion of the Force-Imbued blades that the Je'daii as well as the Legions of Lettow. Made by Akuma, with the aid of other Sith Assassins.
The edge, and blade of the sword is primarily made out of Trimantium Alloy to provide a very durable and high tensile blade. Naturally the blade is incredibly sharp. A Devaronian Blood-poison crushed into a powdered form is married with the Trimantium to cause pain even by a single touch. Cuts, or even the smallest of scratches cause immense pain, and continues to do so until the wound is completely healed. If made contact with the bloodstream, the crushed gemstones natural effects of releasing a poison into the bloodstream, causing even more pain. Enough so that the possibility of fainting or passing out is high.
The blade is married with a Dantari Crystal to complete the Force-imbuement. As the crystal aids in recovering spent force energies, it uses the same ability with the blade, however, the effect is minimal compared being used directly with a lightsaber. This very small amount, can mean the difference between life and death.
The core is made out of Duranium, a very durable metal that is also light. This is used to connect the actual grip or shaft of the sword to the blade itself, as well as used in the forging of the edge. The metal is also used for the guard and pommel. Should a lightsaber be used against the wielder, the hands have some form of protection against the sliding of the two weapons. It can withstand a glancing blow from a lightsaber.
Smoothed wood is used for the grip, as well as the scabbard in which the weapon is housed. The battle wraps around the blade are made out of Shell Spider silk to provide comfort should the wielder be in longer battles, as well as general use.
In Character Reasoning:
With Akuma, and her sister Hatori both being training as killers, they opted for the cheapest weapons possible, and learned to use them. As such, VIbroswords were fairly easy to acquire. Training with them as her time as an assassin, Akuma has grown an attachment to using bladed weapons, or physical weapons rather than energy based weapons like blasters and lightsabers. Yes she carries one simply for the fact should she face another person with a lightsaber, she can defend herself. With this sword, it will allow her to not require carrying multiple weapons onto the field, thus reducing weight on her gear, as well as give her a suitable weapon for her fighting style.
Akuma is a killer, murderer, and an assassin. However, she never expected to be forced to make a decision to die, or kill her own sister. Thus, she made her choice, and now has to live with the consequences. She feels responsible for how her sister turned into a monster. How she is currently falling to the dark side. Thus the blade is crimson to resemble the blood she has spilt. The Dark purple and black aura around the blade shows, and reminds her of the darkness she controls. Always there. Always lurking to over take the ones she loves.
Instead of making a Sith Sword, Akuma made a "Jedi Sword" as it can kill spirits. She knows this, and intends on somehow making her way to the netherworld at some point. To defend herself, she needs to be able to combat those who are in the realm of the dead. Thus gives reason to make this kind of weapon, instead of the typical sith sword.
Being currently a student of a Dashade, A being who had lived so long ago, She can acquire knowledge from eons ago with some ease. While she is not privy to all the information, she has some. Learning to become stronger to one day reach her end goal. With coming back into the light, or in this case, darkness of the Sith "cult" she now is with, and supports, she can get in the fast lane to achieving this goal of hers. Even while she may be following in someone's shadow for the moment, she will one day cast her own shadow, and lead forward.
