Revy was caught in the chaos, only managing to escape thanks to her mother's final act of defiance: giving her daughter the codes to a hidden ship and telling her to run.
"Ivy left to find her own path," her mother said, bruised and exhausted but still fiercely herself. "Now you have to do the same. Don't let them break you, Revyanna. Don't let them turn you into something you're not."

But the more she thought about her mother's words about her sister's journey the more she realized that maybe she needed to find them.
