  • Permissions: FFE is owned by me.
  • Primary Source: None
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Blaster
  • Size: Small
  • Weight: Light
  • Ammunition Type: Power Cell
  • Ammunition Capacity: Small
  • Effective Range: Average
  • Rate of Fire: Low
  • Stopping Power: Very High
  • Recoil: Very High
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Handcannons. A gunslingers magnum. The revolving door answers the many blaster resistant armors out there by hitting like a hovertruck. A low fire rate and high recoil, mean the gun operates like a magnum but slowly and with only 30 shots before needing a reload.
  • Rotating Cell. An easy access central power cell can be swapped in place, although they are specially designed FFE-PC's, or FFE Power Cells they are generic, functionally designed the same as any regular power cell, each shot gives off a large, high energy blaster bolt.
  • Holosights. Holographic emitters give a targeting sight with up to 2, 5, 10 or 20 times magnification, adjusted on the side of the blaster. Manual iron sights are also available at the end of the barrel.
  • Light and compact. Easy to carry, and being a pistol, easy to conceal.
STRENGTHS
  • Blow off the Barn Door. When overkill is needed. Packing a very high stopping power, and fun for all the family.
  • Zoom in. Offering manual Iron Sights or up to factor 20 magnification on a holosight at the end of the barrel, toggled on or off.
WEAKNESSES
  • Thirty and Done. Just thirty shots and then you've got to swap out the power cell, no recharge is possible.
  • Slow and Low. With the high recoil from firing, this isn't a sniper weapon, the low rate of fire makes for a slow weapon with low hip accuracy. If you fire without taking aim then misses are likely.
DESCRIPTION

The revolving door is named so for the revolving central power cell, done for style as much as function. It also acts as easy access to reload the weapon's meager ammunition count, consuming FFE's custom brand generic power cell, ten cells are sold with the weapon, with more readily available on a custom order. While some blasters boast upward of 500 shots, this one only carries just 30, each one hitting like a hovertruck.

Black by default, with a comfortable brown sullust leather grip, a long, ribbed, square barrel ends in a holosight which can be toggled on or off, up to a zoom factor of twenty. If off the sights act as a low tech manual iron sight. Some street gang members are rumored to keep notches between the ribs recording their kill count, but some professionals think that tacky.

Revolving doors are also the underworld nickname for just how many doors this weapon has opened or closed. More than one syndicate underboss or Triad fixer has found themselves fixed by this weapon. A popular choice for bounty hunters or gunslingers who don't much care for which side of the law they operate on, and mercenaries who want the stylish killing power FFE often bring out in their designs.
