Kuat , Core Worlds


Kuat , home to the Kuat Drive Yards. Perhaps one of the most vital planets in the Core Worlds this planet has been the site to many Battles such as the Confederate invasion of Kuat approximately half a decade ago , the Core Imperial Invasion of the planet , the Corellian attack on the KDY and most recently the Skirmish between the Grayson Imperium and the Republic. Due to it's importance , the KDY had been damaged countless times with efforts to repair the Drive Yards being too costly resulting in the House of Kuat handing over the Shipyards to Runi Verin and her Company to restore the Shipyards though these efforts have been largely unsuccessful due to constant fighting and never-ending conflicts. These events have taken a toll on the planet itself as riots and protests have recently broken out against the new Kuat of Kuat , Elane of Kuat in the aftermath of the assassination of her predecessor and the Agents of Chaos's success in driving both the Grayson Imperium and the Republic out of Kuat.

In the midist of these Riots , an underground paramilitary organization calling themselves the Kuati Restoration League has risen gaining support among the populace as they pursue their goals to remove foreign influence from Kuat and to begin a new era for the planet one in which would see the true restoration of the KDY and the return of Kuat's time as the Galaxy's most important ship producing planets. However despite this the Kuati Restoration League has faced opposition from it's main enemy , The Ten. Composed of the most wealthy families in Kuat , the Ten have posed the biggest obstacle to the Restoration League unaware that one of them are actually the true leader of the Kuati Restoration League. For some time now , the Kuati Restoration League and it's hidden leader have been preparing for their ultimate plan , to remove Elane of Kuat seen as a puppet of the Grayson Imperium and to install a new Kuat of Kuat to ensure Kuat would remain free from Foreign Influence.

What's unknown to most however is that the Directorate has played a huge part in Kuati Affairs for some time now , as through their secret alliance with the Kuati Restoration League's Hidden Leader they have been able to manipulate the very actions of the Kuati Restoration League. With tensions rising with the Republic , the Directorate has gone on the offensive starting with Kuat intending to aid the Kuati Restoration League and place it's hidden ruler as the Kuat of Kuat and force The Ten to acknowledge his rule. However they must move quickly and swiftly if they are to reach their objectives without catching the attention of the Republic and the Grayson Imperium. Once the dust has settled and Order is finally restored on Kuat , the planet itself will be in the hands of the Directorate's Proxies and will become nothing but a pawn in it's future goals

OCC : So guys welcome to the Directorate's official first faction thread. Here we will be aiding a Paramilitary Group known as the Kuati Restoration League take over Kuat and remove it's leader , Elane of Kuat who is essentially a puppet for the Grayson Imperium and place a puppet on the throne of Kuat. This will be the first of many threads that will essentially help develop our faction to ensure that when we go Major we will be able to remain as a Major.

Objectives One | Battle over Kuat:
After months of preparation , the Kuati Restoration League has decided to go on the offensive launching a coup d'etat in the Capital City of Kuat , Kuat City. Key areas of the city have been captured but The Ten and Elane of Kuat have managed to flee to the KDY along with Kuat's Best Troops entrenching themselves in the Residential Space Station. With most of the Kuati Defense Fleet still loyal to them it will be hard to breakthrough their defenses. Take whatever forces you can cluster and head to Kuat to assist the Kuat Restoration League in defeating the Fleet loyal to Elane of Kuat.

Objective Two | Storming the KDY:
As our fleets engage with elements of the Kuat Defense Fleet , a small but elite task force has landed on the KDY and has pushed back the Kuat Security Forces from KDY Offices near the Residential Space Station. With reinforcements arriving from the Kuati Security Forces and the Kuati Royal Guard our forces have been pinned down. Take your Troops , reinforce them and crush the Kuati Forces loyal to them. Elements of the Kuati Restoration League will assist you in this mission as they proceed to sweep up enemy resistance down on Kuat City.

Objective Three | Cat and Mouse:
With most of Kuat City overrun by the Kuati Restoration League , the Hidden leader of the KRL has established his temporary headquarters in Kuat City but the city has not yet been secured. Pockets of resistance still loom and isolated pockets of the Kuati Security Forces continue to resist against the Kuati Restoration League. Take whatever forces you can and crush these forces to ensure that Kuat City is pacified and secured.

The day had come when the Directorate would come from out of the cave. It was a slow but steady process. Directorate Intelligence has worked hard, collecting information, leading up to today. Today they would finally show the might of the Directorate. A small but powerful task force jumped from hyperspace into Kuat space. Two Pellaeon III Class Star Destroyers and five Compellor battle cruisers, full of accompanying starfighters and bomber squadrons suddenly emerged. Admiral Ben Craig was in charge of this operation. This was his first live, major battle since the battle above Atrisia and his promotion to Admiral. He would show his dedication and commitment to the Directorate here. The forces gathered here was only a small fraction of what the Directorate wielded. Kuat was a major stage the Directorate had to take. “All ships prepare for battle. Expect heavy resistance from the Kuati Defense Fleet. Let’s show them what we can do.” Ben addresses his fleet.
