Retaking Arkas

So after Felucia I humbly suggest retaking Arkas. It's a former LS world which had lots of pirates and stuff on it.

Some things to do whilst here:

• Help the citizens of Freetown, the home of emancipated slaves helped by the Coalition.
• Defeat slavers!
• Battle the pirate remnants which still try and prey on the locals.
• Search for buried treasure! Pirates like burying stuff.
• Enjoy the tropical beaches!
• Whatever you like. The planet's not massively developed, so maybe someone could build a resort or something?

Any questions, suggestions or whatever I'm happy to discuss.

To be blunt, building a fancy resort on a third world planet seems a bad idea to me. I doubt the natives, living in poverty as they do, would appreciate a bunch of wealthy foreigners flaunting their wealth. Unless you want a big fence and for the resort to be guarded 24/7 by hired security.


I like the other ideas though.

Good point Sio. Rather we should construct hospitals and/or medical facilities. Sure up villages with housing and help with better farming practices?

That was my thought. Would be something for the Silver Cross. Maybe my NPC Eldorai priestess/healer can show up.


And if Arkas gets paved roads that don't lead through a jungle filled with monsters, the planet will instantly be way more developed than Dromund Kaas during the TOR era. Since such feats of engineering were too complex for the Sith of the time. :d

Ah, I see. Well, it can be NPCed. Presumably the Coalition still has humanitarian aid workers either way. Can invite companies to gain PR points by helping develop infrastructure.


And the Eldorai church has healers and such. May try to convert some natives to the Great Goddess Ashira! * ponders settling some Eldorai communities on less populated islands on Arkas since Tygara is getting kind of overpopulated and slaughtering natives to gain lebensraum is immoral *

Since Arkas is a planet with big oceans and lots of islands, I think it would be a good place to try out your Ocean Energy Combine (like it a lot) there.
