  Ren Ashbridge was born on the elegant yet warlike world of Eshan, a child of two worlds—his mother an Echani warrior famed for her grace in battle, his father a Chiss strategist whose intellect was as sharp as his combat prowess. Raised amid the disciplined elegance of Echani culture, Ren mastered numerous martial arts, each movement refined to lethal precision. His youth was spent immersed in rigorous training, honing his skills into an embodiment of controlled power and fluidity.
  
  In his earlier years, Ren rose to prominence as a mercenary leader known for his ruthless efficiency and often cruel disposition, over time coming to favor employing those following the Mandalorian ways due to their efficiency and competency. During one of his contracts Ren secured himself a set of Mandalorian beskar armor from one of those protecting his target and has worn it since due to it's effectiveness. At a pivotal moment during this tumultuous period, fate intervened in the form of Valeria de la Vallée. Recognizing Ren's potential, Valeria rescued him from near death—an act of calculated compassion which earned her Ren's unwavering devotion. From that day forward, Ren pledged himself as her steadfast protector and confidant, quickly rising to become her trusted right-hand man. Through Valeria's guidance, Ren discovered his latent connection to the Force, embarking on a new path that would reshape his destiny.
  
  Under her careful mentorship, Ren became adept in the ways of the Force, especially mastering the dynamic and acrobatic lightsaber combat style known as Form IV—Ataru. His movements, always elegant and swift, now became infused with a powerful spiritual intensity. Despite this he still prefers more standard weapons, often not even taking his lightsaber into combat and when it comes to the use of the Force, he often only uses physical enhancements rather than some of the more...force user typical abilities. When asked about this once he simply replied, "Space Wizard Cults and their styles aren't really my thing. It's simply too inefficient for killing." Beyond these glimpses into his past, much remains hidden behind a veil of secrecy, lending Ren Ashbridge an enigmatic air that both intrigues and intimidates those who cross his path.
