Private Reminisce

This was going to be one of her longer business trips. So Ra had brought an item along she had been itching to work on. An ancient Holocron from a long-dead Sith Lord. As good or bad as it was, this Sith hadn't actually been one of the blood-thirsty or even really horrible ones. Instead, this man had focused on business and it was this that Ra was after.

Night after night, she would spend a little amount of time working on how to unlock the device's secrets. The night before she was scheduled to arrive on Lahos, she tried one last time before putting the Holocron away. Some day, its secrets would be hers but not this time.

Setting an alarm to wake her up before arrival, this was the last thing Ra remembered for the night. The next morning, the alarm woke her up and she climbed onto her personal shuttle to arrange for the transportation of the goods she had brought with her. They had already been paid for, they just needed to get dropped off at the proper location.

Breaking through the atmosphere of this new planet, she sensed a presence she had not felt in quite a few years. If she didn't know that her friend had died, she would have thought this feeling was her. Shaking this from her mind, she landed the shuttle and looked for the person she was supposed to meet for the drop-off.

During her time waiting, there were conversations going on around her she couldn't help but overhear. Some sounded more believable than others but she had made up her mind and would have to investigate if there was any truth to them. Looking up as a man approached, the business was completed in almost record time and Ra was free to go.

After hearing more than one tale of either a fire breathing or fire using Twi'lek, she just had to find out if her earlier feeling had been accurate. Getting a general location for who she hoped was her old friend, she once again climbed aboard her shuttle and followed where both the directions and her intuition told her to go.

The feeling of stardust signature would come and then disappear, it appeared at random times throughout the day then would simply vanish from the force like it never existed. The city of dragr on lahos had all the talks of sighting their former queen stardust but no one could get close enough to see if it truely was her or some ghost haunting a certain area outside of the town.

However stardust when she didnt have her voidstone ring on felt ra easily, immediately dispatching some of her followers to locate her and come back to confirm it. After hearing the new stardust gave a smile and moved to a special chamber as she took her ring off and let her signature expand out fully like a bright beacon for ra to find. Her followers were informed of who was coming and to let her pass without issue

Ra'a'mah Ra'a'mah

It really had been far too long since they had last met. In fact, Ra could barely remember it. She thought it had been after they were forced off Vjun and they were trying to set up a new location on Zeltron. By the time that happened though, most of her people had gone their separate ways. So Ra had not tried to ever bring them back together again. So they had gone their own ways and Ra had eventually settled down, gotten married, and even had a daughter of her own. So much she needed to fill Stardust in on...

Following where the beacon of her friend's signature came from, she landed her shuttle down and was guided to see her by strangers. These people appeared to worship Star and this caused her to raise an eyebrow just slightly. Then again, when the Sith had taken Bast Castle from her, she too had a few people that worshipped her. It just did not feel quite the same.

Getting welcomed, she followed them into a special chamber and was greeted by her friend. Unless Star pulled away, she would find herself facing a changed woman and wrapped in a hard hug. She now has glowing eyes, pointed ears, and a fluffy tail. There would be no illusions between the two of them.

"Man it's great to see you again. How the frack are you?"

She'd pass many people clad in either robes or wearing normal clothing in a slight emerald and gold hue. It seemed in this area they had carved out a place to meet and worship, however she was quickly taken past that and further down below the ground where the heat of the nearby lava flows could be felt, however the heat of those quickly was gone and instead the warmth of the walls could be felt. They'd arrive at a door guarded by two Ophidiae, one a much younge rlooking serpent looked with suspicion before the older one hissed to then and they opened the door to a airlock, once inside the air would cycle and a cold chill would be brought over ra and her escorts, the door opened to what looked like a normal room but bare of any tapestry or flammable objects.

There in the middle sat stardust at a table, steam seemed to billow out form her, she stood as ra came over and as soon as ra got within 10 feet of her shed feel the temp rise to a normal room temp. Hugging stardust felt like hugging a blanket fresh from being dried, star looked decades younger and any known scars were absent, even the feel of her arms gave off that she had no cybernetics anymore. However she was still as tall and looked as strong as before

ra my sister....you've changed a little bit!

There was a hearty laugh from stardust, she motioned to the table

why dont we sit, I'm sure your very curious about some things and got questions as do I!

The redhead was escorted and made note of the various things she noticed along the route. The colors seemed to match what she remembered Stardust as favoring. At least, some things never changed. Not reacting when she was hissed at the serpent woman, she was patient. Eventually, they opened the door and they allowed her in.

Feeling her friend's arms around her, Ra gripped the former cybernetic arm and looked down at the flesh there now. Looking up at Star, she smiled and let go of her.

"We have both changed a great deal it seems. What happened to you?"

If she had to guess it would have had to be cloning. She would wait to hear the answer though.

Sitting when Star offered the chair, its cool metal was felt through her clothes. Around them, there was nothing that could be burned and she of course noticed the temperature change. Choosing not to comment on anything, she hoped it would all become clear soon.

hmmm...theres is a lot to tell...but don't worry. I've not hidden anything from you before and I certainly will not now

She motioned to the seat before she sat herself, sighing as she grew serious and quiet as she looked away trying to gather how to break the ice on this conversation

I'm sure as you heard, i died, which is true i DID die and was dead for some time. However I was resurrected by the cultists I'm sure you've seen, now as for why theres a cult around me well we have to go back to when I died...mmm no past that a bunch of detail need filling in

She cleared her throat and sat up a little, this was gonna be a long one and currently her memory was a bit spotty while she reacquainted herself with what happened dover the few months

if you havent heard yasha cadera was killed by her own husband in battle while they were fighting carnifex, her soul somehow ended up in the dark lords possession, however rather then torture her or such he did something even I couldn't believe. He transferred her soul to a new body and wiped her momery of every horrible thing that had happened and replaced it with a life of joy...and renamed her Gunnr Zambrano. Now I was captured during one of the many battle of mandalore and was brought to carnifex himself who revealed to me who yasha became. I had decided to...honor my old promise to yasha...to be by her side until I am dead. Now then that out of the way fast forward to panatha recently where the Ashlan crusade they called themselves invaded the planet

She paused to let her absorb that large piece of info before speaking again

I had went to defend her and her children, the crusaders wanted to wipe out the entire family regardless of what they've done, gunnr, her son, and skorvek did a battle meditation that I latched onto that sent me to new levels of power...well after they had stopped I sorta had to much power and sacrificed myself to not blow up the place around me. I was incinerated and well died

Star threw her hands up and had a slight goofy grin

and then boom I guess that act got some hooked don me started worshipping me and they found my notes on immortality and then used them to bring me back but and I say but...the notes were incomplete and left me cursed. I am forever 'ablaze' you could say, I constanly am at a high temperature enough to burn objects unless I'm wearing a voidstone object...which I've had them craft a ring for me

Lies and deception were mostly a thing of the past with Ra. Neither of which had ever happened between her and Stardust. The woman across from her had been one of the first friends she had ever made and one who had helped her through some tough times.

"I'm just sorry I wasn't there for you during yours."

Had she just said that out loud? Obviously, she had but she fell silent again and listened to the tale unfold. Making a slight fist when the name Carnifex was mentioned, she wanted nothing more than to stab him through his heart. That dream would never come true and even now the Sith as an Empire was gone...for the moment. They would return though, they always did.

She had only met Yasha once at an auction and that was that. Never thought of the lady again. So it was clear Star had become much closer to her than Ra ever had. This was fine with her. Many of her contacts were business. Star had started off as one of those but their relationship had quickly changed. Forming a friendship with Ra was difficult but that's exactly what had happened.

Listening to her friend, she nodded and essentially shrugged her shoulders at the outcome.

"Not quite what I expected but then again, with us is that ever the case? I'm just glad you're back. Relatively healthy and in one piece."

Giving her a true smile, there was real emotion in her eyes.
