  • Weight: 12 kg
  • Ammunition Type: Power Cell
  • Ammunition Capacity: Functionally unlimited
  • Effective Range: Short
  • Rate of Fire: Semi-Automatic (5-second charging time)
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Only the Worthy - Due to the use of identity verification sensors housed within the haft of the hammer, only those Yasha Mantis deems worthy are able to effectively wield the weapon, as the on-board repulsors will actively work to counter any attempts at movement by unauthorized wielders.
  • Ranged Re-Arm - Thanks to the use of more advanced repulsors and some rudimentary environment sensors in the hammer's design, it is capable of being recalled to Yasha's hand should she become separated from his weapon during battle, even smashing its way through barriers to do so (should there be no other path available). In order to use this feature, the hammer can either be linked to Yasha's armor or summoned via a verbal command.
  • Insulated - All the hammer's electronic components are encased entirely within the bes'kar haft and head, as well as insulated against undue damage from electrical surges, making it an incredibly resilient weapon.
Strengths:
  • Can Opener - Thanks to the powerful repulsor and shockwave generators used in its construction, Yasha's hammer is ideal for attacking heavily armored opponents and even light to medium vehicles, as the shockwaves generated on impact are more than capable of causing significant kinetic damage and sending opponents flying even without breaching the armor itself. The bladed spike on the back side of the hammer also encases a vibration generator, making it exceptionally good at piercing and slicing most materials used in armor.
  • Ranged Melee - While the primary generators are housed on either end of the weapon's head, the hammer also includes a short range Arc Caster built into the center of the head and along the start of the haft, giving it the capacity for an electrical blast that can be lethal up to 20 meters away.
Weaknesses:
  • Pretty Karking Heavy - Despite the smaller mass of the hammer compared to its progenitor, it still weighs a full 2 kilograms more than a standard power hammer, which is an already cumbersome weapon. It is not meant to be wielded by the weak, and anyone of average human strength and conditioning will likely find themselves struggling after more than a few swings.
  • Slow Burn - While the ranged capability itself, short as it is, provides an unexpected vector of attack, the 5 second charging period can easily mean the difference between victory and defeat in close-range combat.
  • Ow, That Tickles - While the hammer's insulation and bes'kar construction are exceptionally resistant to electrical damage, the power cells do not share that trait. As such, the weapon implements breakers between said power cells and the more exposed mechanisms in the head and haft. In the event of a sufficiently powerful surge, these breakers will switch off to prevent the power cells from exploding, leaving the arc caster and vibration generator inoperable for a period of 5 seconds while the breakers reset.

DESCRIPTION

Just like its predecessor, the haft and head of this hammer are composed entirely of hollow low-carbon Bes'kar, making it a full 2 kilograms heavier than your standard power hammer, but also rendering it almost completely indestructible, even against lightsabers. The haft is wrapped in shriek-hawk leather to better absorb the reverberations of impact, and provide a solid grip even in the bloodiest of battle conditions.
In another deviation from the function of the standard power hammer, the power delivered in each melee strike is not set to a constant level. Rather, it is merely a multiplier of the natural force delivered by each swing. This not only allows Yasha to apportion the weapon's force as she sees fit, but also has the added bonus of conserving power when the full brunt is not needed. Thanks to this system and the capability of the weapon to reclaim power from its own motion, it can go through multiple full-scale battles before running out of juice and requiring recharge, giving it effectively unlimited ammunition as long as the user remembers to charge it during their down time.
Another feature unique to this variation of the weapon is the vibration-generator equipped bes'kar spike on the back side of the hammer. Intended for situations where raw force may not be the most appropriate answer, it is capable of piercing and slicing through most materials below bes'kar grade with relative ease.

I assume that this comes with some sort of a 'beacon' that the wielders carriers with him for the hammer to return to them? If so, please add that.

Wouldn't both the vibrogenerator and Arc Caster be vulnerable to electric damage? The former through conductivity of the metal it gives vibrations to and the latter through the output of the current.

Let me know what you think.

For the recall, it's synced to the wielder's armor or can be summoned with a verbal command if it's in auditory range.

For the electricity susceptibility, breakers are part of the insulation process and would switch off in the event of a surge, preventing any excessive amount of external electricity from reaching and detonating the power cells. All the metal (conductive) parts of both the caster mechanics and the vibration generator are made of bes'kar, so the mechanisms themselves can also handle an immense amount of current before being rendered inoperable. Though they can be rendered temporarily inoperable by tripping the breaker.

With regards to the Arc Caster being vulnerable to its own current, that doesn't make sense (or I'm not understanding you correctly). If it was susceptible to its own electrical output then it would never have become a functioning canon weapon.

I've edited to include the above explanations as needed.
