A weapon to reflect the fighting style and personality of her own design was the goal. A goal Reine Bisset has now succeeded in.
The lightsaber is made in the form of a long-handled lightsaber and features three, distinct crystals: Qixoni, Dragite, and Lignan crystals. The size of the handle and blade limit the combat styles open to the user, but allow the wielder to easily swing the blade around their body and use their limbs as fulcrum points for movement. The hilt is made from Phrik, making the weapon lightsaber resistant and highly durable. The hilt also features a set of springloaded spikes, also of phrik, that allow the weapon to be used as a club or morning star in a pinch.
The blade itself is made from three crystals installed into the phrik hilt.
The first is the Qixoni crystal that gives the blade its red coloring. The crystal also prevents the weapon's use by anything but a darksider and boosts the blade's cutting power and speed. The Qixoni also grants the user a minor boost in Force strength.
The second crystal is a Dragite Crystal. This crystal causes the blade to "ring" louder when striking. The noise is purely cosmetic, but can distract or mildly disorient the unwary or unprepared.
The last crystal is a Lignan Crystal. The Lignan crystal grants the lightsaber a boosted cutting ability, much like the qixoni. Also, like the qixoni, the Lignan crystal permits only darksiders to use the weapon itself.
The overall result is a lightsaber renowned for its cutting power and the minor boosts it gives to the wielder while the extra noise it causes and the back up weapon built into the pommel give Reine a nasty surprise to the unexpecting opponent.
Outside of this, the weapon suffers the same problems normal to lightsabers.
