BOUNTY HUNTER'S GUILD
bountyhunter.png
Bounty Hunters have the toughest job in the galaxy. They take on the most dangerous criminals and killers after others have failed and when no one else dares. While others cringe and whimper, Bounty Hunters get things done there are few in the galaxy who can appreciate what it is that Bounty Hunters do, it's a job, a job that someone has to do. Here's how it works, someone commits a crime then the Sith Empire, or the Confederacy or what have you, some corporation, organization or local government, heck even an individual issues a notification to our guild. Typically they offer a reward for the capture or execution of the criminal. The entity that issues the notification is known as the originator. The criminal who is the subject of the notification is called the acquisition. The reward, of course, is the bounty.

You might ask what seperates a Hunter from a bodyguard or even a merc, well our creed. Our creed is what seperates us from the pack, so here are the six tenets of the Bounty Hunter's Guild;

  1. People Don't Have Bounties, Only Acquisitions Have Bounties.
  2. Capture By Design, Kill By Necessity.
  3. No Hunter Shall Slay Another Hunter.
  4. No Hunter Shall Interfere With Another's Hunt.
  5. In the Hunt, One Captures or Kills, Never Both.
  6. No Hunter Shall Refuse Aid to Another Hunter.

The Creed ain't the only thing you gotta mind, there's a few rules you gotta learn too. Oh yeah, the Guild's got rules about five of'em that you gotta keep in your head.

  1. Accept the job your Guild contractor gives you.
  2. Don't question your Guild contractor.
  3. Never deny aid to a Guildmember.
  4. Don't poach in another hunter's territory.
  5. Submit any disputes between hunters to the Guild for arbitration.

By now you're probably wondering how does this all work. How do you, the new hunter get your start? Or how is it that the Guild can help you? Simple. Dues. Yep, that's right the almighty credit. Now considering that you're taking advantage of the Guild's starship repair yards, get more training from any one of our Guildhouses and even sign out a jet pack? New hunter dues start at about 12,000 credits which is chump change in this galaxy. If you're part of an affiliate Guild or Syndicate, you can add to that number.

If you figured that the longer you're means the more dues you pay, well, ain't you a smart one, huh? Now, don't worry we ain't tryin'a strip you of your wages. Fact, the Guild gets most of its money from - you guessed it, bounties. Now the Sith Empire pays their folk real well, just ask Koda Fett or them Golden Company fellas.

Well there's more we should probably go over, but I get it, you're eager to get your start. Below is some key information you're gonna need. Now, if you got your own Syndicate or House feel free to fill out the card so we can update the index with your information. A card for those interested in becoming a Bounty Hunter is also down below, now, with that said, good luck Hunter you're gonna need it.

Affiliate Bounty Hunter Guild Registration:

Throughout the galaxy, a number of affiliates have sprung up and have accepted. Syndicates are privately owned organizations that hire bounty hunters, deduct a percentage of bounty revenues to support the organization and are involved with training and supporting hunters. Syndicates may include a number of chapter houses which were originally established in remote sectors so the Guild could simultaneously manage such areas and also prevent competition from unethical hunters. Major chapters or Houses are distinguished by specialized services, and a limited range of operations and each has various differences involving the respective corporate governing structures, membership, training opportunities, and payment schedule.

Please fill out the following information to become a registered affiliate of the Bounty Hunter's Guild. The typical suffix or prefix is either House [Name] or [Name] Syndicate.

For those interested in being part of the Bounty Hunter's Guild please fill out the information so we can update the index of BHG Hunters. Now, if you're wondering if you can be part of the affiliated groups AND the BHG the answer is, yes. But, but you must put the Guild first before all others and if you can't do that then I guess you gotta decide what's gonna best suit you.

Name: Pretty simple, what do you want us to call you.

Gear: Do you have your own gear do you need us to provide you with gear? If you got the gear, show us what you're workin' with so your contractor gets an idea of what you're about.

Contract Types: What kind of contracts do you prefer to take now, this is preferred. Your contractor may still give you contracts that you may not like, but you're still expected to get it done.

Faction: Which faction are you most closely allied with? Now if you ain't got an akk dog in the race then don't worry about it, you can include or mention any corporate group, minor factions, or what have you. Reason is - if you got ties somewhere then that gives you another plus for contracts, dig?

Code and Creed: Do you agree to abide by the Code and Creed set forth before you? Now, this is serious you only get two chances, after that you're out no questions, no appeals.
