Sam tapped a key on his commlink and the ramp on his ship lowered. He walked directly up the ramp, stopping at the door at the top and inputting a combination of numbers and letters before the door opened. He then indicated for her to board.

"It's a decent trip, but not a stressful one. We'll be in what amounts to friendly territory for most of the trip. We'll jump from here to Onderon, take on some supplies there and refuel, then it'll be another jump to our destination. Rough total of four days in hyperspace with another day total tacked on for refuel and resupply. We'll land in about five days." He escorted her to the central area of the ship, then into a hallway. He indicated a door with a hand. "Your chip has an RFID signal in it that unlocks this door. I am the only other person on the ship who can unlock it, on the count of it being my ship, but I will only do that in case of an emergency. Back the way we came is where we have meals, breakfast and dinner is served, lunch is scrounge for yourself. The bridge is further up this corridor and up a set of stairs. You'll have free access to the ship during the flight, the only thing off limits is the navigation computer. It'd largely perfunctory, but until you get checked out, you're not to know. I don't have great security, so it'll be on your honor to not get into that computer." He shrugged at the last part, he'd have to go to some pretty drastic lengths to keep a skilled slicer out of his systems. Spark seemed on the level to him, so he didn't even consider those more drastic methods. At this point, he had to get clearance for take off and then fly the ship. "I'm...gonna go fly the ship now..." he stated, tossing a thumb over towards the cockpit. A slight flush ran up his cheeks as he stumbled over the words again. He enjoyed talking to her, but he had his job to do. "Get comfy, feel free to come on up if you want. I'll send an announcement over the ship com when we are about to enter hyper, which you'll need to strap in for, my engine is a bit bumpy on entry and exit of hyper." He then turned and walked up to the cockpit, calling up the harbormaster on his com unit before he even got to the cockpit. He got the clearance to depart quickly, as he'd paid for, and went over a quick pre-flight check before taking off.

She nodded as Sam went to the cockpit. Good. He knew like she already did that it wouldn't take much for her to sneak a look at the nav computer. He probably wouldn't even know she did it. But that would be a poor start to a new chapter in her life. Besides, if Sam tried anything fishy, she had plenty of other ways to handle the situation.

But he seemed like a man good to his word. She just hoped her instincts were right. She didn't even need the chit to open the door to the guest cabin but she used it anyway.

Slipping inside, she let the door close behind her. She took advantage of the rest of the time to hook up her tech. It wasn't long before holopads, holokeys, and transportable towers engulfed the small area. It was amazing that all of it could fit into her one bag, crammed between the few sets of clothes and one extra pair of sneakers.

Right now she thrived in the 'introvert time.' Eventually she would venture out again. Perhaps when the stick of strawberry gum lost its flavor.

While Spark did her introvert thing, Sam slid into his pilot mode. Things were never as calm in his mind as when he was behind the controls of his ship. He'd had his crew stow their gear and close up the ship, he figured he'd introduce them to their guest one they got in the air or in hyperspace. After finishing his pre-flight, he lifted off slowly and smoothly. When not going in or out of a hot zone he liked to get the engines warmed up before leaving the atmosphere, and doing a slow lift let the engines cycle up in a proper sequence, it kept the life of his engines strong and long.

Sam ignored orbit, he found an open lane between the various ships in orbit and slid Outrider 1 out into open space. He turned the nav computer on and started the calculations for the jump to Onderon.

"Just an FYI, we are preparing our hyperspace jump. I'll do one more announcement before we jump." He said into the ships comm. His copilots came into the bridge and strapped in shortly after, the bridge still having the feel of silent efficiency.

The blond-slicer was easily lost in her work. She barely registered the first hyperspace warning and missed the second one entirely, swaying slightly on her bunk as the ship entered the void. The gum lost it's taste and her stomach grumbled.

Some good time had passed on the chrono. She wondered if the other crew members already thought she was a hermit. Uncrossing a pair of stiff legs, she shrugged on her grey hoodie and ventured outside of the guest cabin.

She found Sam eventually. "Are we expecting any trouble at Onderon?" The sith might be looking for her. She would have to give Sam a warning when they were alone. She wast sure how vindictive Darth Carach could be. Perhaps that was something only Darth Adekos needed to worry about.

Sam paused in the kata he had been doing, and coughed into his hand to hide his blush. His crew knew he liked to be alone to practice as Sam honestly felt a little silly. It was purely because his parents had trained him so well and ingrained the discipline of practice so deep into his bones that he came down to the cargo bay and practiced at least once a day. He took a quick step to the side for a towel and quickly toweled off. He hadn't gotten very far in to the kata, so he only had a small sheen of sweat built up. It took a moment for him to process her question, then he shook his head.

"Not so far as I can imagine. Onderon is the heart of the Republic, and Outrider 1 is a common sight on this route." He motioned to some crates closer to the holds ramp/door. "We'll land on the planet to offload some food and medical supplies, take on the basics and refuel. Shouldn't take more than four hours from touch down to lift off. Are you expecting trouble to follow you?" The question was made very casually. In his mind he had agreed to take her from one place to another safely, so in his mind all that mattered was what might get in the way and not who brought the obstruction into their way.

The entire situation of his embarrassment went over her head completely. She stuffed her hands in the pockets of the grey-hoodie and leaned against one of the crates he motioned to. Eyes beneath glass lenses shifted between Sam and the toes of her shoes. "No...maybe."

Lips pursed into a thin line of thought about how much to share versus the risk. "I left the One Sith. I doubt they could track me or maybe they could care less. The republic thinks I'm dead so I doubt there would be much trouble there."

Bony-shoulders shrugged as she lifted her gaze. "Thought it'd be fair to tell you for your crew's sake."

Sam merely nodded as she spoke shortly.

"Sith are nasty, but they'd have to have seen you board this ship and tracked our course." He scratched his cheek and leaned back against a crate as well. "We're going to a public port, but just to be safe, I'd like you to stay on the ship or with me if you need to get off. Does that sound reasonable?"

Sam moved slightly and grabbed his shirt. He made sure he was dry, then pulled on his shirt and tucked it into his belt. He checked his chrono before looking back up at Spark. "It's about dinner time, are you hungry? I think Tani is making a goulash of some sort."

Pale cheeks flushed. She hadn't expected him to stick his neck out for her. She was so used to being on her own or being used and on her own. She ducked her head as Sam slipped back on his shirt. "Yeah, I can do that. We can stick together. I'm not gonna say no to someone with-uh...muscles."

Stomach grumbled as if on cue.

"I've never had goulash but right now I could eat about anything. Have you always been with your crew?" She was curious to know more as they walked toward the cantina.

Sam couldn't help but smile at her muscle remark. To not have smiled would have meant his blush was all alone.

"More or less. Our parents ran in the same circles, we grew up meeting in the same shadowports and such. When I bought this ship, I offered a position to them and more people. The past few years we've been a solid crew. They joined the Underground with me and all."

They made it to the dining area, Tank indeed had made goulash and was dishing it out to the other two crew members present. Sam grabbed a couple of dishes from the rack and handed one to Spark.

"I think she uses to much salt, but that's really just a preference.". He said with a small grin at Spark. Tani made like to hit him with the ladle before doling out a serving to him. " Thank you, Tani."
