Special Features: Developed for Trakata and Makashi. The saber can extinguish and ignite in an instant snap-hiss, allowing for full use of the Trakata technique. Due to the use of special diamonds and modifications to the construction, this capacity has in no way impacted the power of the blade. The lightsaber is dual-phased.
Description: The lightsaber is a standard curved hilt construction, composed of durasteel and dallorian alloy where the components are excessively exothermic. The reason for the production of heat stems from the alteration in the diatium power cell as well as modifications to energy modulation circuits and the focus crystal activator. Built with the purpose of creating a powerful, yet versatile saber, the expenditure of energy was mitigated through the use of an inner lining of dallorian alloy. The bolts and screws used on the exterior of the hilt are composed of electrum, purely for cosmetic purposes.
The handle of the saber is composed of an outer layer of rancor tooth, taken from a slain beast by the Hand of the One Sith, Reverance, during his time as a slave in the fighting pits. The crystals used within the saber are a rare form of diamond, colored the hue of blood, caused by an imperfection in the crystal lattice structure. Originally, in construction, this provided issues with the integrity of the blade. However, through trial and error, this was offset by the modifications of the saber listed before as well as staggering the diamonds within the hilt to prevent alignment of imperfections across the three diamonds. This, of course, was done through the use of Shatterpoint. The crystals give the blade a blood red hue.
The Lighsaber is dual-phased, allowing a speedy transition from 145 cm's in blade length to 101 cm's. This property enhances the deception of the blade, building trakata and changes in length to basic wielding of the blade. Along with this, the blade comes with a power adjustment knob, a slower method of adjusting length for preference of the fighter and purpose.
