Was browsing chaos, clicked on the dominion tag and my browser ended up at the site below doing the usual "pretend to be Defender" ploy. Machine is a relatively new build, not running as an administrator with Chrome settings locked by group policy.

Save all that you can that is on the computer, and then hard shut down, and reset your computer. Once back on, make sure to check your own virus protection to make sure if it found anything, or if it detected anything go wrong. If you found nothing great. If you found something, then you have more than just a site problem.

Yes, sorry, I am aware of that part. I am checking out my own machine, thought I would check if anyone else had been redirected.

[member="Trextan Voidstalker"] actually I had the same thing pop up a few days ago while using Chaos. I just clicked into the colour change thing and it turned into that exact same image. If we both got it while using Chaos then it's not likely to be a coincidence.

Confirming that I received that too, a few days ago. I don't recall what I was doing on Chaos, but I didn't click on any banners.

Virus scan showed nothing. It hasn't happened since.

This is just an ad, it doesn't do anything. I have like 6 different virusware adware spyware things. If at any time something is forced to download or try to install, they all grab and quarantine it. The worst you get is the infinite browser message pop up. Thanks to chrome I can tell any site to never spam messages and then I exit. Don't ask why I get this a lot. I don't get it on Chaos
