Red & Black

Sabetha was much more go with the flow. She took what the galaxy gave her- sometimes literally, but that was neither here nor there.

"I suspect you're right on the last part in particular," Sabetha said with a smirk, wiggling down a little and getting comfy in the pilot's seat again. What she wanted was to tip her gorram hat over her face and maybe take a short nap right there but she had yet to track down the fence who had that particular item (A mister [member="Okh-Verg"], what kind of name was that?) and the timing prohibited the second part.

"Honestly I assumed that's what we were doing," Sabetha said with a shrug.

After selling off the bulk of the Anti-mater, they had enough funds that this p.o.s. wasn't needed anymore. They could buy something- or better yet, steal something- nicer any time they wanted.

"Figured we'd bail, and while everyone was running like mynocks with their heads cut off, we'd waltz into the star port and get ourselves something nice, ya feel me?"

It was way more collateral than Sabetha would have been comfortable with two years ago. Something had shifted- two years in a box will do that to a person- and while perhaps it was something that could have been arrested back to it's factory settings, the choice to remain around Hira and [member="Rohak Vizsla"] wasn't doing her particular moral compass any favors.

Head tilted.

Did it surprise Hira? Ya bet. Oh, she didn't have any illusions about Sabetha being a saint or anything like that, but she sure as feth had a couple of implied principles. At least that was what her stories had implied. Though, two years in a can-sized metal box probably karked with your perception on how much those principles were actually worth in the real world.

Maybe that was what had happened there.

"Good with that. I like me some big boom, Sabby Two, ya know dis." Stretching just a bit against the seat, before yawning a bit. "Could do with sum shut-eye, but I figure we get plenty of cuddle time a bit later, once we get outta here."

A wink there, before Hira plopped herself out of the pilot seat.

"Time for a change of gear."

Maybe there was an invitation there too.
