TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: One handed, Lightwhip
  • Size: Small
  • Weight: Very Light
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Dual phase technology. Lightwhip can extend to a max of 2.5m and shorten to a minimum of 1m.
  • Discharge energy cell. Allows the weapon to modify its own power output allowing more powerful strikes and increasing cutting power.
  • Cutting edge! Due to the power output and arrangement of chosen crystals on the weapon. Rectitude can damage and eventually cut through beskar given the chance.
  • Sapith. Provides the blade or whip of the weapon with more control and intensity.
  • Yellow colored blade
Strengths:
  • Greatly increased cutting power allows gradual damage to beskar
  • Whip can be manipulated
  • Increased blade maneuverability
  • Blade can wrap, curve and bend around objects striking from different angles
  • Power output and length of the weapon can be changed in an instant
Weaknesses:
  • Cortosis will short out the blade
  • Whip can be manipulated
  • Striking the base of the Whip blade with enough force has the potential of violently shorting out the weapon
  • Lacks in defense against physical attacks against it and could be tangled
  • Cannot redirect blaster fire with any accuracy
  • Dangerous to the wielder... for obvious reasons.
  • Cannot function if the hilt is submerged underwater
DESCRIPTION

"Justice is admonished by those to serve and those who serve do so with Rectitude."
~ Kreus

Created by Kreus himself after careful consideration and thought into different variations of lightsaber weaponry, A lightwhip was constructed. Dubbed Rectitude the Lightwhip was chosen after constant warnings of not picking such a weapon from various Jedi orders and sects. After going rogue Kreus began to branch out in teachings and techniques of the jedi order. His heart remained true to the core tenets but unrestricted by rules and regulations. The lightwhip "Rectitude" symbolized the entirety of Kreus's current beliefs. Unbound, far reaching, powerful and relentless in nature. Being named after the virtue of Rectitude was almost poetic.

Although a lightwhip, Rectitude has several feature causing it to standout above all other lightwhips. Featuring a Force crystal, Sapith crystal and Sigil crystal all as focusing and powering crystals. The weapons natural power output is higher than a normal lightwhip and even a lightsaber allowing it to cut through almost any material with ease. This includes damaging and the eventual cutting of Beskar with repeated strikes. This greatly enhanced cutting power is honed by the installation of a energy discharge cell and dual phase technology within the lightwhip. Power output can be modified with in an instant to either low, medium or high and the weapons range can be altered in the same way extending the length of the whip or shortening it instantaneously. Paired with altered blade maneuverability from the sapith crystal itself the lightwhip "Rectitude" is a force to be reckoned with. Naturally a whip is a unpredictable weapon to face. Able to wrap, entangle and surpass a foes defenses if caught off guard. It also has its list of concerns and weaknesses. "Rectitude" lacks defensive capabilities to be blunt. As a whip it cannot block incoming lightsaber or lightsaber resistant weapons well enough to defend its wielder and a strong enough strike to the base of the whips blade nearest to the hilt can potentially cause the entire weapon to violently short out. Blaster deflection is possible with great effort and calculation but its nearly impossible to redirect fire back to your opponent accurately.
