SPECIAL FEATURES

• For modes of fire requiring power cells, the Palladium Core within provides an endless supply of power and a resistance to EMP damage.
• A void stone located in the handle of the Hand Cannon helps ward off Force-based attacks. It also rubs off on the projectiles, making them trickier but not impossible to redirect with the Force.
• Modes of Fire:
  
  • Trihexalon Slugs: A last resort measure to obliterate something you don't want to deal with. With a 5 meter radius, the Trihexalon causes complete biomass conversion of anything caught in the cloud. Even the wielder, if not careful. Never used in proximity.
  • Standard Slugs: Utilizes Verpine shatter tech to pack a punch.
  • Cortosis Shot: A fun tool to handle the pesky laser swords of the galaxy. Will short an unprotected plasma blade.
  • Disruptor: When fired upon a biological target, the victim is disintegrated atom by atom, resulting in a slow, painful death. Best used in a pinch at close-range.
  • Stun: For targets desired to be taken in alive.

STRENGTHS

• High range for a revolver.
• Variable modes of fire for a variety of circumstances.
• Extreme output of power, all dished out by the pull of a trigger.
• While being a single-fire weapon, the revolver is capable of rapid hip-fire.
• Durable, capable of taking a beating. The outer Songsteel plating can help block a lightsaber in a pinch, though it isn't a good size to make a personal shield.

• High maintenance/upkeep
• Hefty, requires a good amount of physical strength to wield.
• Very high recoil.
• Potential for harm to the wielder (Trihexalon)

• Void stone makes it harder for the gun to be wielded by Force users.
• Absurdly illegal outside of the Outer Rim.

DESCRIPTION

Failure often incurs creativity. The Rectifier is a promise made to never repeat the failures of the past. Forged by the Mandalorian Ranger Alias Sol, this unique Hand Cannon is a tactical tool designed to turn the adept warrior into death itself. Offering five modes of fire, each with unique ammo, the Hand Cannon gives the skilled hunter a variety of options to tackle any kind of opponent. Alias's goal with creating the weapon was always clear: kill Sith, a goal influenced by his youth. This can be seen in the presence of a small void stone within the handle of the Hand Cannon, as well as the setting for Cortosis Shot slugs. The addition of disruptor fire and the Trihexalon slug fire setting are merely additional perks for sealing the deal in a pinch. It also carries a stun setting for non-leathal options, which are powered by a Palladium Core that runs on Cold Fusion.

The Rectifier is, however, a very dangerous weapon that poses a risk to the wielder. It is heavy and had an unruly recoil, requiring great physical strength and concentration to wield. If a mistake is made with the Trihexalon slugs at close range, the wielder could very easily find their biomass converted and meet a painful end at their own hands. Any moment that the wielder spends reloading the gun is a moment that they are left vulnerable. All of these combined make it a requirement to approach every battle with a tactical mind, and a bit of gumption.
