Private Reconnaissance

Several days had elapsed since Korr's encounter with the bloodthirsty assailant on the streets of Typhon. His memory of the events was hazy, clouded by the copious amounts of Force lightning he endured before being rushed to the ER. Despite the ordeal, Korr was determined to resume his duties back on Koboh.

Reluctantly torn away from the ruins he had been studying, Korr returned to the familiar grounds duty. However, an underlying sense of unease pervaded the area, as Korr couldn't shake the feeling that his encounter with the madman was far from over.

It had been a few days since he was hired to (essentially) stalk the Jedi target. He made sure to keep his payment while sending a lengthy bill to his employer. Eventually, he reached Tython after cargo-ship-skipping his way there before finding out his target had travelled to Koboh and going on a journey there.

Thankfully, he knew who he was looking for thanks to the details sent by his employer which led to him getting the Jedi's name: Korr Du Lac. Upon reaching Koboh, he tracked down his target and began his observation, ready to gain all the information his employer desired.

In the afternoon light, Korr finally arrived at the ruins he had been studying for the past couple of months. It occurred to him that perhaps the Jedi Council had assigned him this task to keep him out of trouble.

As he paused to listen to the faint beeping of the comm-link he carried, the semi-blurry image of a Miraluka female, roughly in her early teens, appeared. "Master, it's good to see you back out and about," she said.

Korr chuckled softly at her words. "Are you genuinely concerned about my health, Padawan, or are you simply eager to know when our next teaching lesson will be?"

Xander had followed his target to ruins that looked pretty old, but that was no matter. He got as close as he felt was safe to be and was able to overhear a conversation between the Jedi and somebody over a comm-link. He couldn't tell who it was from here, all he knew was that it was his padawan, and that it was a female. However, he knew he couldn't get close enough to get more details on the padawan.

He began to save the information on a blank holopuck so he could simply hand over the information to his employer. After saving a few notes, he resumed his observations.

The feeling of being followed heightened, yet Korr couldn't discern if it was the ruins themselves or an actual presence trailing him. These ruins deviated from the typical Jedi structures found on other planets; instead, they exuded a sinister aura. A hum escaped his lips as he voiced his thoughts aloud, "What are Sith ruins doing in this place?"

Xander continued his observations, but no new information had really turned up. While he was waiting for something of note, he looked around at the ruins around him and decided to look for anything of worth in the area. Granted, he had to be discreet, but he figured if he could find anything, it would sell well on either the black market, or from his employer.
