Intent: To create a guidance system that works solely for Anti-Matter torpedoes, at the request of [member="Dux Kotass"]
Development Thread: No Development thread, Thread where mentioned and idea created: It's Just, Good Business
Manufacturer: ReCal Manufacturing Inc.
Model: N/A
Affiliation: ReCal, Phoenix Order
Modularity: No
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Computer components
Description: The original concept for these systems was the need of the Dux Kotass to have a working guidance system for her Anti-Matter Missiles. ReCal created a computer system that could be attached to most fighters. The systems of computer parts acts as a lock on system, its ability to lock is amplified by an astromech droid, however it is perfectly capable of locking on to a target without one. It has a lock on time of 4.7 seconds without any assistance. The system works by locking onto a target's electromagnetic signature, allowing it to follow its target even through stealth. Once a lock has been accomplished the system sends the target's information to a chip aboard the missile. The chip then controls the missile towards the target. The sensor within the missile tells the chip where the target is by following the signature. An EMP or Ion attack will short the system, which will then require a reboot in order to continue use. Any missiles that are in use during a reboot will not lose their target as the computer chip within the missile itself is not affected.
