A New Dawn Rises on Corellia!
Hello all! With the New Republic falling into Recall status the Corellian Confederation is formally announcing its intent to rebel against them in the Corellian Hex.

The Scenario

After the loss at the Battle of Kuat, the New Republic's declared intent to move to a new corner of the galaxy, and the declaration of formal war against the New Republic from the Core Imperial Confederation, Corellia has decided to secede from the New Republic. While a show of force from the New Republic is expected, Corellia hopes to break off cleanly from the galactic power through discourse.

Areas of Engagement

Corellian Parliament: The Green Jedi have taken steps to act as mediators and protectors of Corellian Parliament and Corellian High Command as they discuss terms with New Republic ambassadors, senators, or whoever they decide to send.

Corellia Orbit: The Corellian Defense Fleet sits in orbit, ready to take on whatever threats decide to arrive and snuff out this Corellian Independence movement.

CorSec Plaza: Headquarters of the Corellian Confederation's Defense Force. Should conflict arise, taking this military complex would be crucial to subduing the planet.

Few things before people get running.

1. Republic has not in character moved from its spot. The move thread is intended to be a future thread, one that is at the moment focused around helping fondor. The Republic is still voting if it will reapply for major there or in its current location.
2. Corellia would be allowed to leave with the swipe of a pen, the only problems would then become trade, immigration, freedom of movement, and open relations, which is what Republic Diplomats will be touching on... we do not bar people from membership or leaving if they choose to, player planets are theirs to control.
3. Republic naval forces would immediately go to the System edge, though a few are more than happy to remain nearby to shuttle people and supplies to and from the ground.
4. Lastly, Republic Ground forces would stay in their base, and would not be scrambled. Or they would be out on the town like normal civies, there is no instance where they would act any different until the paper was signed and deal discussed, after that, the Republic forces will leave.

Clearing all that up before we get underway as it was missing from the start post and is integral to the Republic's story. Not letting this get twisted.
