Description:
The Razer was designed in direct pairing to The newly created Dark Blade Class Dreadnoughts. Because of the Dark Blades lack of fighter squadrons and general weakness to bomber assaults the One Sith Fleet commanders deemed in necessary to create anti-fighter systems that could accompany the The Dark Blades on their future battles.
The result of these efforts were the Razer Class Frigates. These Razers were designed and built for one simple function, to intercept fighter and bomber craft heading towards the Dark Blade Class Dreadnoughts and the core of the One Sith Fleet. Because of this they are not heavily armed in terms of ship to ship combat, but are instead geared towards combating smaller craft and smaller craft alone. Their fast tracking guns and overpowered engines ensure that the Razer is more than capable of chasing down and destroying most fighter squadrons.
On the bottom of the ship lay ten docking bays that can be arranged for different classes of fighters(and only fighters) each servicing one Fighter. The Fighters attach to the bottom of the ship through these docking bays and are then re-armed, re-fueled, and prepared once again for combat. When the ship enters hyperspace the Fighters are fixed into place and the pilots enter the Frigate.
These ships due to their roll in the fleet are extremely vulnerable to ship to ship combat, and thus they hardly ever stray too far away from the center of the One Sith's fleet, utilizing the overwhelming firepower of the Dark Blades and their own speed and agility to keep themselves safe from ever having to engage larger targets.
