DESCRIPTION

Formally "Balmorra Industries", this company was founded in roughly 700 ABY to supply new weapon designs to the galaxy. However, that was all they did even though they had the factory available to build the weapons. After The Sith Empire torched Balmorra during The Battle of Balmorra, the company fell into disrepair with much of it's factory being unmanned due to the death of most of it's staff. Many of it's old designs were lost in the battle and in the fires that were caused during the battle.

Rebuilt by Kei Raxis, the company was renamed Raxis Technology Incorporated. They began to produce weapons for the public market as well as for private contractors. At first they started with just simple designs, redesigning old weapons that had been lost. It was Kei Raxis, new CEO who made the choice to rebuild the factory and start mass producing weapons, as well as making small contracted weapons on the side for people. Kei also began designing new weapons components for the weapons.

RATIONALE

Kei came to own the company through clever manipulation. The company suffered heavy losses during The Battle of Balmorra and it was suffering profit losses. Kei managed to successfully purchase the company for cheap, paying more money to the former CEO to prevent the man from ever having to work again. It was clever manipulation of a company in dire need of help and he chose to instead buy them out and put them to work to make him profit and make him more money.
