After a brief stint of Piracy Althea signed a deal with the Trade conglomerate for funding provided they receive first pick of all the items made from her Alchemy operations. So she set out to buy two warehouses, A factory and a small fleet. In conjunction the Fleet would be the militant protection arm of her operations, whilst on the backside, she produced Alchemical items and facilitated trade of general goods.

Raxis Interstellar is under contract currently to the Trade Conglomerate but will generally sell to any and all buyers. The Alchemy line goes exclusively to the Trade Conglomerate first and all others second. A separate lab has been established where Althea and few dedicated staff look into new designs and methods of alchemizing as well as producing various items.
The Private Military Arm employs Mercenaries and a Small fleet. It allows the company to be flexible in protecting its holdings as well as making a bit of spare coin on the side by offering contractor services during invasions and other conflicts. First dibs usually goes to the Trade Conglomerate, allowing them to field a separate force of diversified background.
The backbone of any business is simply trade. To fund the first two operations, and generate business partners Raxis Interstellar brokers a number of deals on basic goods. These good are transported to and from potential buyers, making the Corporation the middle man. Each delivery is taxed generating revenue. Most times the company decided to use outside sources for the goods, and transport. All of which can be acquired under contract, rather than employ full time personnel to move them.
The business model is to simply acquire and resell.
