After [member="Connory"] won Triam's lot for Miscellaneous Technology at her auction, she approached the man about the project he had in mind. Not to her surprise, he had an interesting challenge for her. That challenge was creating a disposable device capable of altering artificial gravity fields. Triam further question the man on the specifics of the request, and it was clarified that he did not desire a device that utilized artificial gravity generator to overpower and/or change all gravity fields, he wanted something a little more exotic. He wanted a device to change the orientation and intensity of solely artificial gravity fields and their mechanisms in a chaotically random manner.
Mischievously entertained by the idea, Triam got to work studying various types of artificial gravity technologies and how they operated. It was fairly obvious that artificial gravity could be modulated to meet certain requirements, but these were usually pre-programmed commands that were issued by a user to initiate a change in the default settings of artificial gravity generators. It wouldn't have been too difficult to create a device that hacked into these such controls, but to her, that wasn't sexy enough for her tastes. Instead, she utilized booster technology alongside gravfield generators in reverse repulsorfields to create disruptive gravity fields that overrode the orientation and intensity of nearby artificial gravity fields.
This, of course, would have no effect on true gravity fields derived of massful objects such as planetary bodies, as there are no fields being generated and reinforced by artificial means, and thus cannot control its orientation like artificial gravity generators can. Satisfied with the results of her work, she would give Connory exclusive access to the technology and a life time of resupplies to screw with artificial gravity to his hearts content.
