began with it's founder Reon Memnoch sometime before the 400 years of darkness. The services rendered, and the man who kept it alive, survived for hundreds of years, cloned body by cloned body - with the help of the remnant clones. It isn't well known in reputable parts, but in the black market and less than friendly parts of the galaxy people know what the mark of the black raven means.
In those days the Raven (Reon Memnoch) found you, however these days it is different. There is a number to call, a message to be left and then someone comes to you. They all wear the same face and they all answer to the same name.
You call if you are after a custom poison or need a little genetic change (with all the risks that apply to it), or perhaps you need to clone your recently deceased daughter? Come one and all. It isn't cheap but if it can be done, or a chance it could be done - then gosh darn they'll do it.
As of current situation there is no alliance with anyone, the last alliance with the sith dying out when the founder did, and it is currently run by Tahali (remnant 5), Tahali (remnant 6) and Tahali (remnant 7).
RATIONALE
The company was built by clever scheming, underhanded deals and unethical science by the founder and his successors for hundreds of years. They are not an offical open company where you'll find pretty and viral ads, however in the criminal and political scheme of things they have their place. It is not they who do the deeds done to those in the galaxy - it is those whom they merely put the tools in the hands of who are to blame.
