Development Thread: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/39219-black-magic-or-nightshadows/
Who Can Use This: The Emperor, Grand Admiral/Imperial Navy, Crinan Royal Navy (1 for each)
Description: The pinnacle of Crinan engineering outside the Destroyer Analog Heavy Cruiser, the Rauzana class stealth command frigate is the latest and perhaps most advanced piece of technology Crina has developed. Utilizing stealth technology that would never have found its way onto a Crinan ship without the Imperial Remnant bringing the awareness of such resources with them when they moved onto the world, the Rauzana class has its hull coated with Nightshadow. The stealth coating thusly creating a natural heightened defense against sensor systems, as well as hiding it against the backdrop of space were someone to try and look for it with their eyes alone.

However, it was a noted weakness of the stealth coating that engine emissions still gave it away to detection, and as a result thrust trace dampeners were also installed onto the warship. Now running silent and hidden, the Rauzana class intends to remain out of enemy sight as long as possible. This is important as the ship acts as a command coordinator during battles, hiding away at the edge of combat behind its allied forces to organize the fleet without being able to be singled out. As part of the ship's design, the command center is actually separate from the bridge in the case an attack is launched against it should it be discovered, in which case the fleet command structure and the ship's own would not be crippled in a single strike.

The ship can also act as a raiding vessel quite effectively, its heavy armaments and presence of fighter support making it excellent for ambushing freighters and convoys along enemy supply lines as it could approach undetected before launching a barrage of missile fire and unleash a viscous turbolaser salvo. However, as the ship does not go invisible like stealth craft with Stygium Cloaking, it is not effective at sneaking onto a planet's surface, as it would be seen visually much more easily near or within atmosphere.

This is very well armed for its size, and it has a squadron of fighters. It also has one stealth system, and a second to negate the weaknesses of the first.

It's a well thought out ship and well described, good work! [member="Alva Calvarona"]

- Taking into account the unique nature of this vessel, and that it's at the top end of the scale for size it's still going to need a 20 post development thread (as all ship stealth tech does)

- If you're going to describe it as slow for its size, I'd also expect it to be in the 11-12 range. As mentioned, it is at the top end for weaponry and size.

I made the edits to the speed and maneuverability. I haven't seen the rule yet in the template rules or restricted material section, and if I missed it inn factory discussion I'm sorry, where it says that Stealth Ships require a 20 post thread though. The thread we could likely bump to 15, but since we've been winding it down I'm not sure we'll hit 20.

However, there is a specific number of vessels that will be produced, only 3, and as such none of these will be roaming about. One is even for an NPC specifically, who likely won't travel much and if he does he may not use it.
