  • GENERAL INFORMATION

Raum Varad is a violent contradiction, an outlaw wearing the skin of a warrior culture he did not inherit, yet understands with unsettling clarity. Raised in the industrial rot of Morlana One, he clawed his way up from street thug to professional killer through raw instinct, brutal discipline, and a deep contempt for authority. After surviving prison and assuming the identity of a fallen Mandalorian mercenary, Raum now moves through the galaxy encased in beskar'gam, fighting under a banner not born to him but earned through blood, resolve, and audacity.

He is a man without a past and unconcerned with a future. Only the next fight, the next contract, the next proof that he exists.

  • HISTORY
Born on Morlana One, Raum Varad's real name was never recorded, or has long since been erased. He grew up feral in the lower levels of the city-world: abandoned factories, flooded alleys, and criminal dens shaped him more than any family ever did. Violence became survival, and survival became identity.

In his teens, he was taken in by an underground fight syndicate where he was trained in Teras Kasi, turning him into a precise and devastating close-quarters combatant. What began as pit fighting evolved into mercenary work, then contract killing. Raum's reputation grew across the Outer Rim until arrogance and greed led to a job gone wrong and eventual imprisonment.

In prison, he befriended a disgraced Mandalorian mercenary named Raum Varad, a man estranged from his people but still deeply bound to their culture. Over years of confinement, the Mandalorian taught him everything: language, combat doctrine, armor maintenance, and the meaning of the Resol'nare. When a massive prison escape erupted, the Mandalorian was killed in the chaos. The unknown man took his name, his beskar'gam, and his chance at rebirth.

Emerging into the galaxy as Raum Varad, he joined the Mandalorian Empire's Great Heathen Army, earning credits, status, and legitimacy through war... using the only skills he has ever truly known.

  • APPEARANCE

Raum Varad cuts a lean, predatory figure. Athletic but not bulky, built for speed and endurance rather than brute force. His face bears multiple healed fractures and scars, including a faint break across the bridge of his nose and knuckle scars worn smooth with age.

  • PERSONALITY

Raum Varad is charismatic in a dangerous way; intense, sharp-tongued, and unsettlingly honest. He speaks like a man who has nothing to lose and believes pain is the only real teacher. He distrusts institutions, mocks hierarchy, and rejects sentimentality, yet paradoxically adheres strictly to Mandalorian combat codes and warrior discipline.

Raum thrives on chaos, confrontation, and identity destruction. He believes people must be broken to become real. He is prone to reckless acts not out of stupidity, but belief... violence is clarity, fear is control, and death is the only equalizer.

Despite this, he is not cruel without purpose. He respects strength, despises weakness masquerading as morality, and will fiercely protect those he considers "his," though he may never admit it aloud.
