Bobbing and weaving through smoke, smog, and fiery rain, the Miss Erray swiftly blasted through the stratosphere of Lola Sayu. While unexpected and rather unpleasant, the unstable conditions of this world was a brief reminder for Arken to be thankful of where he had come from. Granted, Dromund Kaas wasn't a tourist's dream world but it was far superior than these molten lakes and geysers of flame.

"Drop her at the Citadel, whichever landing pad that isn't covered in lava would be preferable." Arken grinned, clapping his companion on the shoulder."

"Affirmation: Flame avoidance mode engaged!"

The CEO flashed the droid another grin at his quip. There was a reason he always kept Victor around. One part for ensuring that he got out of most things alive, and the other reason was light, comedic relief. The fact that he merely stood on a sulfuric and molten world was mindiboggling. Oricon was nothing like this. Sure, the geothermal energy was existence but nothing comparable to this magnitude.

He slid his portable computer into his lap and adjusted his tie. They were here for business, which a notable company growing in the region. They needed management consultation and more personnel, and Aegis Systems just needed a little investment...

A ship flew down into Lola Sayu's atmosphere, rather fast actually.

Security personnel were keeping an eye on it, watching its pattern, and to where it was going. They were mainly curious if it was [member="Arken Lussk"], who was due to show up at this time. The security team contacted HK-57 first to let him know that a ship was coming in, but whose it was, they were uncertain. Once their boss was contacted, they went out and contacted the ship as well, mainly to get identification.

Of course it was Arken, what other being in their right mind would take a trip through oh-so scenic Lola Sayu? Arken hardly found the world appealing, the flames and magma were far too much for him. Even the temperature in the little yacht traipsing through the atmosphere had faltered once or two since they'd made it past the ionosphere.

It made for wearing business casual quite uncomfortable.

Garbled static chittered through the comms, prompting Victor to enhance the audio.

Arken cleared his throat, taking the reigns of the communication system. "Yes, yes, this is Arken Lussk of Aegis Systems. We're here to meet a proprietor of Clank and Klunk Industries. If we're in the wrong neighborhood just say the word, but I'd very much like to touch down. I need a glass or water, or four."

Understood, Mr. Lussk,
Mr. Graves has been expecting you Sir. Please land at the designated landing pad, and make your way to the security center, for the standard security check. Your ship will be searched once you exit it, as a part of our standard proceeding of security. Any Questions, Concerns, or Comments about our standard proceedings can be taken up to Mr. Graves during your talk. Have a good time at Citadel Station, Sir.

The Security team contacted him again after confirming who he was and the appointment between Hk-57 and [member="Arken Lussk"] that was planned before hand.

They received the go-ahead to land, which Victor promptly made action to do so. Deftly piloting the small craft through the swirling throes of smog and soot, the Miss Erray jettisoned through the sky before slowing to land upon a pad designated by flashing scarlet lights. Arken turned to pat his friend on the shoulder, letting it rest for just a moment.

"Vigilance."

The droid nodded, crimson photoreceptor flaring in understanding.

"Let's rock," he sang, grabbing his small bag and rising to depart. The duo swept through the halls of their vessel, toggling all of their anti-tampering gadgetry they required before exiting the ship. Mr. Graves and his security detail were more than welcome to inspect the yacht, but they'd discover very little of interest and of worth. He liked to travel lightly.

And with that, they were off the ship and striding towards the Citadel.

Once he stepped outside the ship, Security was already there to search the ship. They were ready to escort him to the security center, but HK-57 was already there. He had come down to the hanger to greet [member="Arken Lussk"] and start talking. He was standing at the entrance of the hanger that connects to the security center.

At this point, the security team began their search of his ship, checking for any bombs or items that could be used to assault the installation. Wither Mr. Lussk and his droid went over to HK-57 now or waited for the search to be done would be up to him.

(OOC: Sorry for such a short post...)

The search, while quite prompt in execution, wasn't entirely needed. Security was of importance but frisking down and scanning your potential business partners didn't seem to be working in this droid's favor. Nevertheless, Arken and Victor subjected themselves to the searches at the checkpoint and were found to be squeaky clean. Nothing on them besides the clothes on his back and the little computer snugly tucked under his arm. However, he did encourage the security team to be very quick with it.

It was pretty hot, sweating at a conference didn't make for a good first impression.

Once they were finished with the whole ordeal, they were summarily escorted to their meeting room - the arena of words.

HK-57 walked into the meeting room, sitting down at the table with them. He had followed the security personnel into the room with them, and waved them out once he arrived. He knew that [member="Arken Lussk"] would be of no true harm against him.

"Apology: I am greatly sorry for the security search, Mr. Lussk."

"Explanation: I will be hosting a gladatorial event here soon on Lola Sayu, and I needed security to be increased to make sure opposition of the Event were removed properly. Your ship being hailed, searched, and frisked was merely a bit of a training exercise for when the event begins."

"Introduction: As you know, I am HK-57, and you are Arken Lussk..."

"Query: What are you willing to offer and trade between our companies, Mr. Lussk?"

He was straight and to the point, leaving no room for different topics, as at this point, He knew that he had a somewhat strange first impression onto Mr. Lussk. He didn't mind the sweating, as the Citadel's Air Conditioning was still being repaired at this point, especially in this part of the facility, so the sweating didn't bother HK-57, nor have a negative effect on his first impression of him.

Oh, there were no hard feelings whatsoever. Just complaining about things and acting important usually got you what you wanted, namely from secretaries or other lowly personnel in various organizations. While the tactic didn't typically work on droids and their mechanized ilk, creatures of flesh and bone were far easier to socially manipulate.

"No worries," Arken raised a hand in mock indifference, "I understand the precaution. It'd be a shame to see this molten, craggy fortress fall into the wrong hands."

Tugging at the collar of his shirt, loosening its grip, the man strode forward to slide into one of the seats. Victory placidly remained behind him, his crimson photoreceptors not locked upon anything in particular.

"Capital, I need capital. Investors, financial backers, leases and loans, you name it." He smiled, running his fingers through his hair in a half-hearted attempt to fix it. "Aegis Systems and its sister company, Jaeger Solutions, are working on quite the project, one that can be beneficial for all parties involved."

Arken cleared his throat. "What Aegis Systems can offer is contractual shipments of whatever you require from our storefront, bulk discounts included in all of this. Secondly, we'll throw in some of our latest and greatest products as a little lubricant to get this show on the road. And," he held up three fingers, "We're quite receptive to product suggestions."
