Ra'Shayne Vorr

BACKGROUND

Born during the Mandalorian occupation of Cathar, Ra'Shayne grew up within a resistance cell founded by members of her clan. She mastered insurgency and battle techniques; once her Force-sensitivity became apparent, she also began to learn powerful Force techniques. She might have become a Jedi, having taken lessons from members of the New Jedi Order, but her natural aggression made it clear that she viewed many Jedi traits as weaknesses. Her foes on the battlefield began to fear her, and even some of her allies grew concerned that her tactics crossed a line.

Once the occupation ended, there was a reckoning. She was arrested by her government and charged with several war crimes and the use of dark side powers. She was tried and handed a lengthy sentence.

Ra'Shayne did not agree with the verdict. Supported by friends on her planet—people who still viewed her as a hero of the rebellion—she managed to escape. She fled off-world with a core group of her staunchest supporters and began traveling the stars in search of greater personal power. During this time, one of the architects of her escape revealed himself to be a Sith and taught her his secrets. She hungrily absorbed this knowledge before finally usurping her teacher.

Eventually, she acquired a battlecruiser to serve as her flagship. Other vessels soon joined her small flotilla, including a band of Zygerrian slavers. While her culture typically would not tolerate slavers, she reasoned it was time a Cathar was on the benefiting end of the slavery dynamic, believing she owed it to her ancestors.

PERSONALITY

She is cool and charming, enjoying power and all the trappings that come with it. She is dismissive of non-Cathar, viewing other species as mere background noise in her story. She finds primate species particularly distasteful on account of their odor, believing they have little use beyond slavery. Despite these views, she knows how to be friendly and can appear almost adorable when it suits her; she has observed how humans fall for their narcissistic domestic feline companions and maintains a great deal of respect for her distant, diminutive cousins.

APPEARANCE

She has pale grey fur covering her entire body and her mane is cut into a choppy bob just above her shoulders. She has partial albinoism, a rare genetic anomaly in her sub species giving her paler fur and fewer stripes.

She has a long prehensile tail and retractable claws. Her most distinctive features are her large sensitive ears and her bright, glowing green eyes—a permanent side effect of a long-term addiction to glitterstim eyedrops.

Xenophobic — She conceals her disdain for other species well, yet her decisions are often biased by it, sometimes to her own detriment.

Glitterstim Addiction — She is addicted to glitterstim spice and cannot go more than twelve hours without it before suffering withdrawals. Her preferred method of administration is via eye drops.
