Strengths:
  • Lightweight: this armor is nimble, agile, and designed to make Rashae feel totally at ease wearing it. It is in every way, designed to make the doctor feel as comfortable as she feels protected.
  • Pockets! This armor has lots of them for the doctor to be able to securely carry bio samples in the field, tools, or instruments of medicine that she may need.
  • Modular: Even Ardgal, tactical genius that he is, cannot totally predict what Rashae wants even 65% of the time. That's part of her appeal. So the warrior decided to hedge his bets with this armor by making it completely modular to adapt for all of her needs.
  • Faraday Cage: This provides the armor with some pretty decent protection against EMP and ion attacks and keeps all those lovely, expensive electronic bits protected from those nasty eventualities.
Weaknesses :
  • Lightsabers: unfortunately, this armor has low protection to light-sabers, almost none to be exact. Since like, everyone and their uncle carries a lightsaber, that's a big deal.
DESCRIPTION

For a woman who was a doctor, Rashae found herself in dangerous positions an awful lot. Too much. So, Ardgal did what any Mandalorian with a company that builds arms would do--he set his mind to making her protection from her workplace hazards.

First, he began with the knowledge that Rashae really wasn't too fond of the whole idea of "armor" in a typical, bulky sense. So he started with one of his favorite, light weight and durable materials, shell spider silk. The stuff could stand up to some serious blaster and vibroblade hits and still keep its integerty up. Since that was the majority of the weapons out there in the galaxy, it was a good base-type.

Unfortunately, for a woman in her line of work, kinetic damage was just as dangerous as blasters. From getting charged by wild animals, to just someone hitting her with a stick, Rashae needed to know that her bones were safe from breaking (relatively) and she could stay safe without having to worry about breaking.

With that in mind, Ardgal chipped away at other environmental hazards the lady could face; heat, cold, the vacuums of space, humidity, radiation, and even bad hair saloons. Ok, so maybe he couldn't protect her from that, but he was confident her fashion sense could.

Satisified with his work, Ardgal began to ask himself "what does a young, pretty doctor/scientist need most when she is working?" and he began to work from there. First he added pretty much every conceivable sensor to the helmet. You never knew what small scrap of data the lady would need when tromping through the dangers. And of course, what is a doctor without her medical tools? Ardgal provided some pretty handy medical pacs for her armor, with the full knowledge she'd probably tear them out and replace them with something a lot more advanced and capable.

All in all, its just some pretty cozy armor for Rashae to have as she goes on her adventures.

Howdy. Mostly looks good to go, just have a couple of minor nitpicks.

Firstly, would you mind linking to the associated submissions for your materials section? Would make life a little easier if folks coming along in the future don't have to dig around for the appropriate submissions to know what they're dealing with.

Secondly, the use of Faraday cages implies a certain level of EMP resistance, and that'll need to be listed under strengths.
