We lost a real legend. I liked a lot of his new music, but this song was one of the reasons why I even started making Hip hop. Rest in Peace.
Edit: Don't know why I'm writing this now, I think I just feel like putting my current thoughts in words.
There was that one time were I almost managed to get into a very, very good college for music production, passed the first test and had to compete against like 20-30 others that got so far. I really failed that day, I was to nervous to get the music theory questions right, I was unable to cook an even half good track up for the test while there, and I generally really didn't showed my best side there. Yet there was one thing I got 100% right. One part of the test was to perform a piece of music I made prior to the test, and I picked a beat I made that was heavily inspired by Shook Ones Part 2. I didn't got a place at that college, but after the test a whole lot of students came up to me and told me that they really like the beat and that it was something special, something special that wouldn't been possible with Prodigy, something special that kept me from crying all day after my failure. So all I have to say is thank you.
