Distinctions:
- Joto: The most common and most friendly, they have developed for years with semi stronger bones then their Yokai counterparts and do not have the specialized tooth protruding from their head. Able to feel the force in 30% of the normal population.
- Yokai: The second most common but still rare and having evolved in the mountains. Their hollow bones and wings make them able to move from temple to temple high in the mountains. Their population is carefully controlled but the floating temple and world is their's to go about in.
- Purugian: A less common sub-species and one that is considered the most force sensitive with nearly all if not all being able to use the force. A specialized tooth protrudes from their heads that channels the force for them.
- Ralstein: The rarest and most coveted, considered the progenitor of the others having all the traits of each sub-species but the chances of one being born is one in two billion

- Joto: Well respected and numerous populating most of the governments of the planet.
- Yokai: The primary farmers and explorers of the species able to traverse large distances quickly with their flight.
- Purugian: The primary force users of the world and the hardest to come by the people
- Ralstein: The rarest and most coveted but considered a myth.
Technology level: The galactic standard with an emphasis on culture and creating ornate jewelry, decorative armor and weapons. Ship building is not their strong suit or a major need compared to working to better work on planetary relations.
General behavior: Very friendly and very isolationist. They value their peace and quiet but won't turn away offering aid to people or helping those who come to the planet freely sharing resources and wanting for nothing. They are however not naive as some want to believe and value their friendships as well as promises. Word and promises are very sacred being the measure of a person if they keep their promises.
History:
PRE-GULAG:
Thousands of years before the gulag plague a meteor struck the planet from the Unknown regions bringing with it an amber ore that created a large crater. The primitive Rakesh attracted by the heat and comfort of the crater slowly developed a civilization as they grew larger and settled in. Eventually learning how to use the ore to make tools and equipment.
Then beings from the sky came in ships that rained fire and brought knowledge of the force a dangerous element they used to subjugate the Rakesh turning them into a slave society as they labored to mine and build temples for the ancient Rakata until one day... Something happened. They got sick really sick and were weaker allowing the Rakesh to rise up and stop them with three beings leading the charge.
The three siblings would later take their roles in society more as legends and ideals to strive to then the flawed beings they were as one sister ascending to bring about the day the other the night and the third remaining behind to guide the people. Something quite a sight to behold as the Netheranium became the lifeblood of the Rakeshian society flowing like a river into their technology.
The planet entered an early golden age reverse engineering and focusing on the technology brought by their slave masters as the ships were using the force to fuel their technology. The netheranium reacting and allowing one to focus the needed emotions to power it until the Rakeshians were visited by another race. The Gree who taught them peacefully about the dangers of the Unknown regions and how to build safer technology.
This led to a civil war that plunged the world into a dangerous century of persecution while secretly in the shadows a new group moved. The dangerous Priory built much in the world using the technology others shunned to speed the processes, implanting themselves within the government that was now more accepting of the other races finding their way to the world. Refugee's from worlds consumed by a dangerous being of Unknown origin. Who left behind dead worlds with flowing rivers of silvery metallic sludge.
The humans and chiss that came to the world were at first put in smaller sections of the cities but kept away from the capital city. The heart of the world where the large Netheranium meteor flowed still making their weapons and armor, their vehicles and ships. As the civilization entered a golden age the Priory of Sion lost much of its power in the wake of the powerful and dangerous Maiden's blade.
A test of skill and ones will that pitted the strongest fighters against each other every four years to determine a new and fresh ruler who could bring renewed vigor to the fight against the forces of darkness on the planet. With the golden age of exploration of their system and planet the three moons of the world and the foundation of the servant class made to help the Bioroids came to be.
With the first model Bioroids a need for an intelligence was needed and the Technis was created a computer system that worked for the betterment and advancement of the worlds. For several hundred years as the planet advanced the Technis led them into a new age until it grew to large in the western continent and was assimilated into a ship able to travel and explore the galaxy leaving behind a new intelligence of its own design to help lead and mold the Rakesh bioroids.
The Technis returned one thousand years later a large amalgamation of ships and pieces fused and combined into something more showing signs of growth while it swallowed up the third moon of the planet creating a Dyson sphere around it fusing together while it warned about a great danger coming to the system. A large scale war had broken out between droids and clones as it learned from assimilated databanks and now it was working to protect its planet.
Then the dark times came... or at least one of them, the golden age of the planet was over. The Rakeshian's faced a small crisis as refugee's flooded in from worlds that were being put under the human centric views of a dangerous group who tried to come to the world. One visit brought the dangerous Priory of Sion back from the brink but not to aid the invaders they instead fought against them as the time went on and helped repel the invaders.
Then more stories of the galaxy reached them as talks of dangerous groups, of extragalactic beings and other things older then most civilizations came to pass, the planet worked to isolate itself putting ships in orbit but not allowing many to come. Then something happened the people started to get sick and dark times came to all as the virus spread across the surface of the world.
POST GULAG:
It was a new dark time, the people were sick and the bioroids relied upon to help and protect becoming the third generation models that could have immunities to the virus (not being actual people but synthflesh over metal) and they protected as the Technis was hacked by a greater power losing much of its knowledge.
As the years went by the people developed and rediscovered much of their heritage but not all of the advances choosing to be more isolationist while exploring the area to a point. Reaching out when needed and going to Ilum where the chiss explained the famous jedi would come. They met them a few times but maintained a distance as the years turned into centuries and then news of more galactic powers sprang up.
