Charlene was good at minding her own business. She prided herself in knowing when to keep her nose out of other peoples business. But she also knew when someone was lying. Yet, as she stood here, fist raised to strike the other woman, she examined the lightsaber. She made a business decision just then. No honor in death. No money in death either.

The blade went out, but Charlene still pulled on a fake smile, lowering her hand.
"Air conditioning's all fixed then. Just pay me my five hundred credits for my work, and I'll just be on my merry way then."

There was a moment of serenity. A brief break in the cloud cover that distracted Urya long enough for both the men to come running inside. She only barely heard the green woman demand payment, and Ein's stern voice. Oh. The voice said they had to 'dust off'.

"DUSTING AHOY!" She would suddenly shriek, flipping the gangplank shut with a soft switch. "BUCKLE IN. WE'RE TAKING OFF!"

Unfortunately, her compatriots and unwilling passengers would have less than a few seconds to run to a chair and strap in before Urya pulled the ship off the ground. It hovered gently in the air, then sped upwards, hitting sky and barreling through the resisting gravity and friction. The cyborg was screaming with joy, battling the forces of the planet itself in the race upward to atmo.

Before Ein could reply, the ship was taking to the skies. He had no time to strap himself in, and so he braced himself on the communications console at his side. Force willing [member="Rusken Shaxx"] had made it aboard.

The warrior narrowed his eyes as he extended his senses. There was the old man, a swirling vortex of angst and loss. He was an outlier in the force - an island sighing the raging sea. Ein breathed a sigh of relief at the realization that there were no loose ends.

"Jump to the edge of the system on Coruscant as soon as we break atmo." He ordered, giving Charlene a short nod to say he would explain things in a moment.

With the aid of the force, he trudged into the co-pilot's seat, and began to input the coordinates for Triple Zero-Imperial Center- Coruscant.

The girl did not have time to find a seat. She stood there for a second too long, stunned by the turn of events. Today was supposed to be a simple day. She woke up, went to work, fixed a ship and now she was... the victim of a very stupid kidnapping and robbery. Now she had nothing and she was being carried off to who knows where.
The ship lurched up and before she could grab onto anything, or secure herself at all, she was thrown back against the back wall. Her head hit the wall and black spots overtook her vision.

"WHOOPS! Sorry, Saffron, that's my new best friend back there. We fist-bumped. Can you make sure she finds a comfortable seat while I bust the membrane? I'll need all the oomph I can get, and she is rattling around. She also is a wamp rat."

The ship was beginning to level off in the sky, keeping an angle to easier shear up through the air. " This is your captain speaking. You have about thirty seconds to find a seat before we make the jump. If you wish for your organs not to liquefy in mid-air, please make your way to the nearest belt-seat and strap in!" She felt the coordinates mumble quietly from the ship, up her jammed metal digit, and into her head. "Ooooh. What are we going to do there? Find ourselves some pirates to beat up on the lower levels?"

Rusken relapsed back into his typical grumpy demeanor, keeping to himself as he boarded the vessel behind [member="Ein Necavich"]. He didn't pay much attention to the other two occupants within the vessel, but the old veteran did have a certain distaste for obnoxious voices ringing in his ears. The pilot was not an exception to this.

"Alright. First thing I'm getting when we make a stop is a new pack of smokes."

The still former Jedi Guardian took a seat and looked to Ein.

"If I'm gonna be tagging along, I want you to know that I don't necessarily care for orders anymore. I consider myself a free man, catch my drift? Once all this is done, my back is turned."

The armor-clad man shifted in his seat and let out a tired sigh, he closed his eyes momentarily to catch a bit of rest. It had been a long, confusing day for him and his career. It was funny how quickly things could change in an instant and how feeble the backs of some were when faced with important decisions.

Rusken wouldn't forgive the Republic. They had crossed the final line where no respect could be given any longer.

And so they were off. Ein felt a tinge of guilt for the mechanic - she wasn't really hurting anyone. Yet, at the same time, she was serving the wrong people. Ein could not blamed for that.

"Sure." He grunted toward Rusken as they shot toward the sky. He settled into the co-pilot seat, and tilted his head back toward the Mirilian. "At the next port." He offered a half nod, and breathed a heavy sigh.

There was only one person they could really meet with on Coruscant, and at the moment, these were all strangers. "Names?"

The cyborg reached out with her free hand, adjusting the wings with a measured turn of the handle. A few buttons lit up by themselves, aided by her own brain connecting with the ship's computer. "Urya Uvatera. I'm both along for the ride AND facilitating the ride itself!" She giggled to herself, coasting them towards the edge of the atmosphere. In a moment or so, they would be free and speeding through the vacuum. " I'll be moving us a fair distance from the planet, then making the jump. Perfect time to get to know one another. Also, do we have anything to eat? I'm -starving-."

The spots in front of her eyes cleared just long enough for the dizzy mirialan to figure out what was going on and where she was going. Coruscant. Plenty of good work there. Too bad she only had some of her tools with her and absolutely nothing else. One of the downsides of being kidnapped. When she felt it was safe, she scrambled dizzily to her feet, hand rubbing the back of her head.

"Five hundred credits," she grumbled, turning to the man, "and you're going to pay for my travel back, as well as my hotel on Coruscant while I wait, and food and drink until I am able to leave. This is your fault. I'm not paying one credit for your mistake."
