Raise de black flag!

Tartatha observed the situation. The crew seemed to be getting bigger by the second, and not every person who walked in the door was appealing. For example, a graug had been eyeing Tartatha. He was doing his best to restrain himself, but he knew this partnership might end badly. After all, the two creatures were huge and prone to anger. And they didn't like each other. Not a good combo. As a precaution, Tartatha laid his bowcaster in his lap. This was simply for ease of access.

He had been accepted into the crew instantly and he didn't inquire any more about that.

He simply observed the circus forming around him, though he might well be the dancing bear of the performance.

Chee looked at Gruk after he threatened [member="Rika Anor"]. Having been a slave and seen his people mistreated for over a decade, Chee didn't take kindly to anyone threatening any of his species, especially the females. There was a soft spot for them as Chee had worked hard to keep his own sister out of the Hutt pleasure houses. This meant Chee naturally had a soft spot for Rika. It was odd how they both found each other on [member="Serg Leone"]'s crew with similar stories, but such was life sometimes, odd. A hand quickly drew reached for his blaster as Chee was tempted to shove the business end right in the creatires reproductive region and make a very not empty threat, but he didn't.

"C'mon [member="Gruk"], she's not food, and if you try eating her, you'll find a thermal detonator in your stomach first. You really do need to learn to develop that sense of humor of yours. I'm pretty sure if Rika wanted him dead it would have been done already."

That was certainly the truth. Rika had the opportunity, and wasn't going to be one to flinch in the face of killing someone. Chee had to read people, it was part of his job, and Rika was as deadly as she was beautiful. He looked her way as she downed another drink, someone else's again no doubt. He slipped into their native tongue for a moment.

"He really does need to learn when to lighten up, and I'll take care of the next one."

The group was shaping up to be pretty colorful. Most of the attention was on Serg of course, and the Zeltron in his lap. Damn, the captain sure knew how to go through the women. Though it seemed the Zeltron, [member="Sunny"], as she introduced herself, wanted to be exactly where she was. He caught something about her being into holograms and such. That could come in handy. Otherwise there was getting to be a lot of hired muscle. Whatever Serg was planning, it was big. Grabbing another ale, Chee tossed it back. Between he and Rika, the two could clear the table and still walk off in a straight line. One of these days they'd have to just for laughs as the rest of the crew would be so drunk hilarity would ensue. It was time ask the question though, the one everyone wanted to know.

"So Captain, what's the job this time, and what's the pay out?"

If there was one thing you shouldn't do it was threaten a Graug that was bigger than you, stronger than you, and could rip you limb from screaming limb with their bare hands. But the Twi'lek in front of him had decided to do that, and Gruk not being the smartest individual especially in his current state was reverting towards his more feral nature. Graug were naturally creatures of the dark side of the force, they grew stronger in its presence and while Serg was indeed Gruk's leader he was no dark lord. Which meant that need for the dark side was causing Gruk to degrade over time, he was rather fluent with words if you were to of met him under the reign of dark lords. So the Graug looked over to the other people at the table and spoke.

"St--aay... out... th-is."

The Graug let out a fierce roar at the man like that of a lion letting his teeth blare, the Graug would not have this weaklings insults which meant he'd have to earn his way back to the not food section of his life starting now. Graug didn't respond well to idle threats, in their culture it was nut up or shut up. So the Graug pounced. Bolting in a clear arc with fangs out and teeth flashing the Graug would attempt to use its weight to pin the Twi'lek down and dig its claws into their arms and sink it's fangs into their shoulder.

It would be fight or die, unless Serg called the beast off of course. How the other bar patrons would handle the situation was up to them but they weren't in danger, the morale of this story was don't make threats you can't back up.

"Well yer cum ter de roi place sweetheart!" Serg replied to the chiss just seconds before the graug leaped at Chee. "For fek sakes!" He growled, annoyed of being interrupted by a silly dispute between man and beast.

Serg and probably everyone else in the cantina could see that the graug had a bloodlust that needed satisfying. Problem was Ord Antalaha was not the place to give into such primeval needs. And even if this was a place that Serg could let the beastly dog off the leash and devour who and when he wished, a fellow valuedish crew member was and should always be off the menu unless given a death mark by the captain himself. Pirates know this, his crew knows this but yet the graug kept needing to be reminded. As undisputed his value on the field of battle is, he also causes just as much trouble in time of peace.

"Gruk! No!" Serg clearly barked his commands at the monster, simple words for a simple mind. If gruk would continue is pursuit of the twi'lek then the captain would have to resort to other means of gaining the creature's obedience.

There was a lot of things happening and she moved, going over towards the corner and remaining there with her arms under her chest as the croke raised an eyebrow focusing for solidity as she spoke. The voice coming out smooth and ready for what can be there offering a shrig. "Whatever the job is, should be worth it... He usually doesn't lead us astray unless there is both types of booty involved." Ah yes a funny and she was awesome but seeing the rest of the crew there it was all. Each were interesting in their own way enough she could take some ntice of them.
