  SUMMARY​

  
  A golden cradle.
  
  Figuratively, that is what Raina had, being born into House Demici on Serenno. Hers is no sop story or horror tale. It's actually quite boring. Parents are still alive, most of her extended family as well. It's been mostly smooth sailing.
  
  She received the excellent education that befit her breeding. The grooming. The speech classes. The whole nine. Even her Force Sensitivity was taken in stride. She spent a lot of time learning from her uncle Pietro Demici as well as some old crone from Dathomir that was supposedly a White Priestess of Allya or some such like. Either way, apparently she was a good guy.
  
  But like most rich and protected teenage girls, she was a bit of a rebel when it came to orthodox and conventional things. The typical "don't push the red button" scenario. Of course you want push the button then, just so see what happens.
  
  Things did change somewhat under Sith Imperial rule. Movements were limited off world and communications to wherever was being watched. It wasn't inherently bad for the greater houses, but it wasn't super fun either. But things got bad in Raina's books when some of her friends and their families were cracked down on for "rebellion" or "treason".
  
  The older she got, the more her understanding and resentment grew against tyranny. Until the Civil War was in full swing and war came to Serenno. Not a stranger to the family politics, it irked her that liberation came with a Dooku at its spearhead. But standing aside was a small price to pay for freedom.
  
  Ever the rebel, with the restored freedom, Raina went against her family's wishes of becoming a politician or cleric like her uncle and decided to instead joined the Imperial Knights to be able to root out the discord that plagued the Galaxy.
