BIOGRAPHY
Born on Naboo into the esteemed House Vayd, Raigryn was never content to simply coast on titles and tradition. From an early age, he possessed both the refined bearing of a nobleman and the rebellious spark of someone who craved something more than ballroom diplomacy and ceremonial duties.
Against his family’s wishes, Raigryn enlisted in the Protectorate military. He served with distinction—albeit often begrudgingly following orders—and gained a reputation as a tactician with flair and a soldier with a taste for theatrics. He was brave, capable, and maddeningly confident. His war stories are legendary, although it’s difficult to know how much has been embellished over the years—mostly by Raigryn himself.
Upon returning to Naboo after his retirement from active service, he slipped effortlessly back into high society, where his charm, wit, and scandalous romantic history made him both a beloved social figure and a recurring headache for Naboo's more conservative elite. He’s been married three times, each union more disastrous than the last. A senator, an opera singer, and another war veteran. Raigryn claims he loved them all, though rumours of his fidelity have followed him about court without ever doing true damage to his position. Reports of how many children he has vary, but he has confirmed nine.
Now, with the galaxy in flux once more, Raigryn has turned his ambitions toward politics. He speaks of duty, reform, and restoring the traditions of Naboo. His greatest strength and flaw may be his way with words. Incapable of keeping his true opinions to himself, Raigryn’s brutal honesty makes him a liability in the assembly chamber, even as his charisma wins over crowds.
He thrives in backroom negotiations and grandstanding speeches but has burned more than a few bridges by telling powerful people exactly what he thinks of them.
