Description: Originally meant to be put forth by former CEO, Silara Kuhn, the Raid-Class Bomber was designed for the Open Circle Armada as per requested via contract. Rather than fall into developmental hell and risk losing a contract with a rather promising client, Lily picked the design back up and continued where her mother had left off. Originally the ship was intended to feature a combination of laser cannons and a single proton torpedo, to be used as a fighter, but Lily saw a greater potential with the physical design of the ship to be used as a bomber - also fulfilling a portion of their contract. While designed for the Open Circle the ship would remain mass produced with two different models available, one being the Model A, to be sold to the Open Circle Armada, and the other being Model B, a ship to be sold on the market with some features missing that grant the Model A a significant advantage - as well as to not make their benefactors feel cheated of their money.
For added mobility the ship makes use of several microthrusters on each wing tip and along the base of the craft to allow for better maneuverability while sacrificing some speed - a necessary trade-off for a bomber carrying such a payload as this. The Model A carries with it a proton torpedo launcher and two concussion missile launchers, the former capable of carrying two proton torpedos and the latter two capable of holding three concussion missiles. The Supreme Defender model shield generator was used for reliable shielding in both crafts while no hyperdrive was used for either. For theft prevention a Pressor generator was included for the Model A, which is absent in the Model B.
