Manufactured by Heartbeat House as part of a now defunct line of plush toys, Ragdoll Kitty - commonly shortened to just Ragdoll - is a run-of-the-mill stuffed animal with the frequently used ingredients of velour, cotton, and buttons. It started its life on shelves, finally seeing the light of day after being purchased by a family for their young, Force-sensitive boy.

As expected, the boy and doll were close - he'd take care of his toy, sleep with it, and take it everywhere he went. When wear and tear had popped open some stitching, the boy refused any offer to buy another plush; he'd demand his parents to stitch the kitty back together again, patchworking it when necessary as it aged over the years.

As the boy grew older, the plush saw less and less use. He'd entered his teens, with Ragdoll relegated to a prop on his shelf, no longer perched on his bed, destined to collect dust. The man grew older still, with plans of starting a family of his own, and the doll was seldom thought of. He'd blossomed into a strapping Jedi, outshining his peers, and as his use of the Force improved, he sought to challenge his abilities more.

Having studied the ancient techniques of the Jal Shey, he'd aim to recreate their skills by imbuing an item with the Force. Unsure of what to practice with, the man would eventually fish out his forgotten childhood toy, dust clinging to its body. Eyes squeezed shut and lips pursed, he focused, the room enveloped by a mystic energy. A breath escaped his lips, his heart skipping a beat, but as he opened his eyes, nothing had changed.

The plush remained lifeless, its body slack and its button eyes devoid of emotion. Frustrated, he'd discarded the toy shortly after, no longer seeing the point in keeping a remnant of his past. Ragdoll was given away, shipped from warehouse to warehouse, unable to find a loving caretaker that would adopt it like its old owner had before he'd grown old and bitter.

Unbeknownst to him, he had succeeded in his goals. For the first time in its life, Ragdoll's head twitched on its own, a permanent frown stitched onto her lips as she stared - silent - at the ceiling of the umpteenth facility she'd been thrown into.

Less of a person and more of a vessel, Ragdoll herself is an oddity in the personality department. Granted sentience by the Force, the mystic energy inside her has latched onto the only context its new home has provided: it is a toy with the express purpose of comforting children, as it had done with its previous owner all those years ago. As a result, Ragdoll does everything in her power to improve the lives of the kids around her.

While often just as slack and lifeless as she was prior to her sentience, it isn't uncommon for Ragdoll to become animated should her child not be sated by mere cuddles. Ragdoll has no concept of good or evil - she cares for any child she's given to, whether they be Jedi or Sith, and seemingly has no interest in anything else the galaxy has to offer.

As a result of being discarded the moment its previous owner grew older, the Force has established a rudimentary understanding that adults are far less caring than children are. As such, Ragdoll very seldom expresses her animation when around grown-ups, acting as any old stuffed animal. Should the adult express interest and believe in her, it's possible for Ragdoll to care for them; this is especially true if the adult in question is particularly upset and in need of comforting.

Despite her rather basic form of living, Ragdoll indeed expresses emotions. Should she be unable to help her child, Ragdoll will embrace their lower right leg while anomalously producing a saline solution from her 'eyes'. She is fiercely protective of the children around her - if anybody were to upset them to the point of disarray, Ragdoll may become enraged and, should she detect the culprit as a threat to the life of her child, will enter a state of aggression. During this, Ragdoll isn't opposed to the act of murdering the culprit should they refuse to stand down.

Any hobbies Ragdoll may like are seemingly superficial - she enjoys whatever her child enjoys, and will always be there for them should they need company.

    STRENGTHS
    • Force Imbued - As expected, all of Ragdoll's abilities are born from her Force imbuement. As standard procedure, she uses the Force to establish a psychic connection with the children she's given to, allowing her to better tell what's troubling them so she can remedy it as soon as possible. While it's possible for Ragdoll to care for non-Force sensitive children, those also gifted with the Force are able to link themselves with her much easier.
      • Dream Eater - As any good teddy bear should, ensuring that her children have a good night's sleep is of utmost priority. While the child is sleeping, the Force prohibits any night terrors from affecting them, with Ragdoll essentially guarding the sleeping child as a buffer between them and their nightmares.
        • Telepathy - While her child is sleeping, Ragdoll is able to speak to them through their dreams. In them, she often depicts herself in her plush form, but the Force allows her to take whatever form she likes. While doing so, Ragdoll is able to play and converse with her child, making sure that they have nothing but good dreams.
      • Protective - When noticing that any children are distraught due to an assailant, Ragdoll can grow to immense sizes - a towering eight feet - to better protect her child from any danger. During this form, she proves incredibly durable with a staggering heft behind her attacks, in similar vein to Wookiees. Upon her child insisting that they're okay, Ragdoll will revert back to her small form without issue.
    • A Stitch in Time - Due to Ragdoll's unique biology, 'killing' her doesn't work the same way as with organics. Should Ragdoll sustain any injuries, a sewing kit is all that's required to get her up and running again if she wasn't already.
    WEAKNESSES
    • Patchwork Heart - While her protective form grants her a much more imposing appearance, her strengthened punches and bulky body don't change the fact that she's still made of velvet and cotton. She's dispatched incredibly easily by lightsabers, with her size making her a bigger target, and her materials prove very susceptible to fire.
    • Selfless Guardian - Ragdoll has little to no self-preservation, and treats all assailants the same regardless of apparent skill or strength. This can lead to situations where she picks battles she visible can't win, and also refuses to back down even while losing with no way of recovering. Unless anybody attempts to drag her away from the fight in question, Ragdoll can effectively kill herself by being too blinded with anger.
    • Force Deprived - Should Ragdoll be brought to any areas in which the Force is completely dead and unable to manifest, she will lose all life and simply slump over, having been reverted to a regular stuffed animal with no sentience or previously mentioned quirks.
      • As a result, any weapon or ability that's capable of neutralizing the Force will instantly defeat her.

It's hard making friends when you've been dead for most of your life.

    Don't worry, I'm sure she'll love you.
Or hate you, if you're one of those people that say they're too old for plushies.
