Rae has a rather interesting personality. She's pretty spontaneous and unpredictable and can be quite the smartass at times. It isn't exactly something she can help, due to the way she was raised, but she still has a head about herself as she stands for what she believes is right. Rae has a very strong opinion and she will make sure it is known.
Rae doesn't mind hearing both sides of the story, but if you overdo it, you overdo it and at that point, you've lost her. She isn't one to judge, but when the time comes, she will. While she may be royalty and a Jedi, she won't care for your feelings if you have gotten on her nerves. Rae also has a bit of trouble with the past as well. With her brother being taken from her at a young age, it is a very sensitive and touchy subject to talk about.
All seriousness and sass set aside, Rae is also a very comical being and will crack jokes at the snap of a finger. She has been known to be very bubbly at times and is in every way a wild child.

Early Life:

Raelynn was born to two parents. One a king, the other a Jedi. Her father, Nicholas Jarrus was a wise and fair king. Her mother, Nalah Serasai, was just a simple girl living on Coruscant. She had been transferred to a small group of Jedi on Cularin. While she was on her way to meet up with other Jedi, she ran right into a young man. Not exactly use to being treated that greatly, she apologized a few times over and that was when Nicholas revealed his identity to Nalah. She was quite surprised to find that he was the prince at the time, but as the years went by, they continued and continued seeing each other whenever they could.
As the years went by, Nalah and Nicholas had started to develop feelings for each other. He invited her to the royal balls and dinners and even gave her whatever she needed to be able to visit him. A Jedi should have never fallen in love but she had lost herself the day she ran right into Nicholas. At the most unexpected time, after Nicholas had invited her to one of his dances, he got down on one knee and proposed to her. With a happy heart, she gratefully accepted. It was like a Cinderella story without the stepmother or stepsisters.
A year and a half later, they were married and pregnant with their first born. A baby girl, which they would love and cherish as their little princess. Nine months and had gone by and there were three days of labor. Which had left Nalah dehydrated and weak. By the time their baby arrived, Nalah had grown more and more weak by the days. At most, she lived a month. A large ceremony open to the public of Cularin, Nalah's death was mourned by thousands upon millions. Many many people came and wished their goodbyes to their beloved queen. She was one that stood out and had been there to help their people. Her death had empowered her people though. While Nalah's force presence lived on with the family, everyone looked to the precious baby girl in the king's arms that would one day become a gracious ruler of Cularin.
Every year on the princess's birthday, a large party was thrown for each year she got older. There was always a cake, a fancy outfit and a wonderful feast for everyone. Raelynn's birthday was always celebrated and it didn't only lie inside the castle, the celebration flooded out on the streets as people danced and partied every year. By the time she was three, yet again, a party was held everywhere. One day, while Raelynn was with her father, she started wandering off through the crowd and made her way towards the table with the cake and presents. Nicholas had slightly panicked, fearing that with so many people out, she could get lost, but he followed her until he found her giggling, smiling and cooing while admiring the setup of her cake and presents. Her father stood watching her as she then reached out a hand towards a flat present. It was a fairly light present and it was from her father. It shifted as she pushed her hand towards it and Nicholas had to do a double take to find out that what he was seeing was true. Yes.. it was very true. When he looked back towards the present, it had lifted only a few inches in the air, before falling gently back down onto the table.
Raelynn was force sensitive.. It was definitely a huge shock to Nicholas, but then again, he remembered Nalah telling him that it was possible for their baby to have the force. Of course he thought of the simpler answer and assumed she wouldn't have it, but it seemed that her mother was right and she inherited it from her mother. Though with them living on a fairly force oriented planet, he shouldn't be too surprised. He also shouldn't have been too surprised either when a Jedi master by the name of Kai Malek visited the castle one day to speak to Nicholas about training Raelynn after hearing about her force encounter a year back at her birthday party. Nicholas hadn't told anyone about the incident but he recognized the man as one he spoke to quite a bit that day. Now Kai was standing her in front of the king, asking to train his daughter in the force. Once he agreed with Kai, they started immediately with training.
They started with the force and alternated between the force and combat each day. They would always do a little bit of each everyday and wouldn't stop until Raelynn fell asleep in meditation or until a snack was brought in for her by her father. Unfortunately, one day, the castle had been attacked once a small band of Sith had found out that Rae was force sensitive. When Nicholas was younger, he had been taught some simple defense moves for fencing, so he was able to put up a fight against the Sith, but not long enough. Luckily Kai had been there in time to help him, so timing wasn't the issue, it was more of the fact that there were two Sith and both were busy with both Sith. Another unfortunate situation, was that the 4 year old, Raelynn, had seen her father being struck own and a Sith saw her and started going towards her. Kai was too busy to be able to help Rae, but she had been able to take care of herself. The Sith didn't have plans on killing her, just catching her and selling her to slavery. But just as he got close enough, she felt an overload of energy go through her and she let out a loud and painful scream. As she stomped her foot, ice formed in mid air and at high speed, went through the man's chest, impaling him as he then fell to the ground.
Putting such energy out herself, Raelynn passed out from exhaustion of what she had just done through the force. With her exhaustion being enough to distract the Sith Kai was fighting, Kai was able to kill the other Sith and taking a quick breath, he ran to Raelynn to make sure she was ok. She had grown pale and cold and Kai feared for the worst. Picking her up, he ran towards the sick bay and had her hooked up immediately, making sure that when she used the force it hadn't drained too much of her energy. Luckily she was still alive, she had just overdone it a little bit.

Biography:

The battle between Kai, Nicholas and Rae had been intense. It had been especially so for Raelynn. Not only had she defeated a Sith and almost lost her life, she lost her father. He was the last thing she had of her mother other than her force presence showing up to her every once in a while. Raelynn had now been in the sick bay for hours without waking up. Kai sat there with her for every second, desperately waiting for her to wake up. After getting a little bit of sleep himself, he sensed movement in the bed next to his chair. Jumping up, he looked over to see that the little Raelynn had finally woken up. He gave her a big hug, which she returned happily and then they had a long conversation about what had previously happened.

After learning and remembering her father's death, she told Kai of her mother's death, telling the story like her father had and asked if she would be able to do the same thing for him. After her request, the plans were put into place and a ceremony was held days later for the people to say their goodbyes to the King who had supported them for so long. He had fought bravely for his family and the word of the princess's issue, had everyone congratulating her on doing such a brave thing. Raelynn never really remembered it, but she had been told the story of how she defeated the Sith. Now with no one else to rule the kingdom, Rae was now still in charge, but Kai, being the second in command if something were to ever happen to the king, would step in and lead until Raelynn was of age.

Going throughout the years, Kai continued teaching her while keeping the kingdom in order. When she was seven, Raelynn had finally gotten her first lightsaber after earning the rank of Padawan. She was almost too excited. The day she was claimed Padawan, Kai had taken her to a Jedi Temple for a few simple tests, which earned her her first real lightsaber. They stayed in the Temple for a while, learning a few extra things and also after a stressful few tests, Raelynn had needed the rest. Once they were on their way back home, Raelynn slept for most of the journey, but once they got home, she was awake as ever nd ready for more training. When they made it inside, Kai helped and watched Raelynn put her saber together, adding in advice and small facts as she was going along. It was more like a puzzle and she had to do it over a few times, because she'd either lost focus or missed a step. When she finally got it all put together, she and Kai sparred long into the night and didn't stop until sunrise. Rae had then slept for quite a while, but it was a nice relief for the castle as they had one day of quiet without a holy terror running all over the castle.

When Raelynn turned ten, she and Kai had gone on a mission. It was a small mission, but it still took some risk. A few kaibur crystals had been missing from the Temple along with a holocron and Kai jumped on the mission immediately, getting the idea that Rae would be able to go o her first mission. It would be good practice anyway. But unfortunately, as Kai feared, there were Sith involved but they seemed to be more like the Inquisitors Darth Vader had sent out after the Clone Wars. Kai had read about it and he had been teaching Raelynn about it too. Reminding her to keep her guard up and to remember her training, they moved in, watching for anything indicating where the crystals and holocron were. Little did they know though, someone had been following them. Rae had been following Kai at that time and they were focusing on the mission and didn't even sense him behind them. Then all of a sudden, he came up behind Rae, grabbed her by her collar and put her in a headlock. She screamed for Kai as he turned around and saw that what he had feared had somehow become true. The Sith was a large Zabrak man and before Kai could even move, he was gone with Rae.

Narrowly avoiding a one Jedi against how many Sith fight, Kai ran and escaped the building to think of a way to rescue Rae. Meanwhile, the Zabrak had taken her to a single cell far in the detention center. It was by itself and the man had been preparing the room for a while for Rae. Pressing the button to open the door, he carried the small girl in and a metal table stood in the center of the room. Pressing another button on a control panel, the table flattened and he laid Raelynn down on it and activated the restraints. When the table stood back up a little jolt, locking it into place woke her up. She looked around frantically as she then laid eyes on the Zabrak man who had captured her. Narrowing her eyes, Rae growled and tried to go after him. But she didn't realize that the restraints that held her down, forbid her to move. He laughed an evil laugh and then he started torturing and interrogating her.

Going back to Kai, while he had been trying to format a plan in his mind, he had been attacked by a few Sith and defeated all of them. There was then a younger Sith, who's mind was still at a vulnerable point in time. Cornering the kid, Kai asked him.. well, he force an answer out of the young boy s to where Raelynn was. Once he gained the information he was looking for he immediately set off back into the building, narrowly getting there without almost losing a limb. Finally, he heard the young screams of a girl and sensed Raelynn's presence nearby. Taking off towards a lone door, he hit the button and found two guards torturing her. There must be a bigger guy around here somewhere though.. either way, before they could go any further, Kai jumped in and cut the guards down before removing her restraints. Catching her before she fell, he picked her up bridal style and ran off with her and didn't stop until they reached his ship. They would have to report what happened to the Jedi and see if someone else could finish the mission with the knowledge they already have. They then went home to the Jedi and got Raelynn patched up and healed.

Three years later Raelynn had finally reached her teens and she was doing even better with her training. Not only had she learned more about the force and saber wielding, Rae had also been learning to properly use guns and explosives. She even had a few of her own already. Kai had given her two WESTAR-35s and she absolutely loved them. She had admired the Mandalorian culture as well and had been learning about them and how Viszla had taken the Darksaber from the Jedi. It was a pretty intimidating story, but a fine one, none the less. Also since she was thirteen, while Kai had been doing well helping the kingdom, the people still awaited a true leader. He had also been preparing her for that too. He knew he wasn't going to live forever. So one day, Kai sat Rae down and they talked about the duties she would be taking over as the queen. After a few hours of discussing, they set up a plan for her to become the queen at a legal age. From then, he started teaching her proper politics and how to be a good decision maker. She was already good at that, but if she were to ever work with trade partners, she'd have to also be a business woman and a tough one at that. When it came to making a decision there would be no room for extra talk or explaining. Doing business was a tough task and being brutally honest seemed to be hard to come by in the trading areas that Kai had experienced.

On Rae's sixteenth birthday, it was finally time for her to shine. A beautiful coronation dress had been made and the family tiara had been polished and ready for the coronation. Raelynn's hair was put up, matching shoes went on and it was then time for the coronation. Thousands upon millions showed up for the coronation of the young girl. It was nerve wrecking and exciting all at the same time. During the entire time they were waiting Raelynn was pacing and there wasn't much stopping her, but Kai sat with her the entire time until it was time to go out. Once it was finally time for the ceremony, Rae set up and Kai walked her to where the ceremony was being held in the chapel and once the music started, he gave her a kiss on the cheek and then wished her good luck. As the doors opened, proud and happy eyes watched as Rae took her last few steps as the Princess. Then, the ceremony started. She took the oath, as sworn in and then her new tiara was placed on her head. Smiling, she turned back around to her guests and saw Kai at the very back of the room with a smile on his face. The room erupted with cheering as she then walked back down the aisle, to meet back up with Kai, who bowed his head in respect to her. She did the same as he put his arm out and she linked hers with his as he escorted her to the party. Once they got to the party, it went on for hours into the night and then everything went back to normal, but with the idea that they had a better and brighter future with their new queen.

Now Raelynn is 17 and she is still a rare beauty. She is a strong leader and a good fighter. Kai had been injured recently, which disabled him to continue teaching Rae her Jedi training, but she will take any master willing to teach her and have a good time.

Strengths and Weaknesses:

+Do we have a deal, Dearie?

Raelynn is a good deal maker and breaker. Nothing gets past her even when others try to shortcut her on the original offer and say that that offer had never been made. She's always able to show proof in a debate about something and she's also good about being brutally honest when it comes to deal making with trade companies.

+Don't mess with a Queen..
While first good impressions come by Raelynn easily, she can turn the tables quickly if things go wrong and when she does so, things get heated very quickly.. or pretty icy. She has an attitude to watch for and has quite the strong opinion.

/Force or no force?
She is good with the force, but despite taking on new duties, she is still a little wobbly in certain areas of the force. For example, Raelynn is able to control ice, but it exhausts her to no end and she needs to practice more and figure out how to use the force in different ways without fatiguing herself.

- The Past is in the Past
Rae struggles from past experiences, such as the loss of her father and many other encounters with Sith. With her having been captured and tortured, it left a mental scar within her and she can never forget it. Especially with her being pretty young at that time, it is something she can never forget.
- A Kingdom of Isolation
After Raelynn's father had died, it felt like the entire was an entire isolation cell to her. She had Kai to help her through it, but after that happened, they had pretty much been waiting for her to become of age before the kingdom was happy again, which had left Rae miserable or bored at times and she was always getting into some sort of trouble every other day or so.

What a bio! I'll admit, I was drawn in by looks, but judging from the history and personality, a roleplay would be especially interesting. Aside from the fact that Rae seems more bubbly on top as opposed to Daniel's dry satire and silence, they have a bit in common...

Awesome ^-^ Anywhere in specific you'd like it to be?

As a side note, you might also be interested in a thread with my own Jedi character. He's a bit spotty on the edges about the Order from past experience, but he also started out at 17, and just as ready to be a Jedi as Rae is currently.
