DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
Slingshot: Instead of using energy or a percussion lock with a explosion to fire, the Scrapshot is based around a simple, yet effective Slingshot which is pulled back by the servomotor after every taken shoot. Due to this, the Scarpshot can use anything as ammuntion that has the right weight and size.
Scope: A simple scope, which allows to be just that small bit more precise.

Strengths:
  • Dirt Cheap: Made out of scrap, the production and therefore also the price of the Scrapshot is far below avarage comapared to other rifles
  • Easy to repair: The technology behind the Scarpshot is very basic, using simply rubber band and a servomotor to pull back and accelerate the shoot Projectiles, which makes it very easy to repair with simple materials and a basic understanding for mechanics
  • Durable: Besides the rubber band, the Scarpshot is very durable due to its simplicity, which makes it useful for groups that can not afford to buy new weapons
  • Everything is Ammo: Everything roughly the size of a pebble can be used as ammuntion
Weaknesses :
  • Unprecise: Due to the fact that the Scrapshot comes without any real ammuntion, it is very hard to make precise hits with it, as the course can be different for different Projectiles.
  • Very slow reload: The Scrapshot has to be reloaded after every shoot (what is already bad by itself), and the process of doing so takes up to 5 seconds for someone experienced with the weapon
  • Low damage: While a shoot from the Scrapshot can easily break a few bones or pierce into a human body, everything in armor is basiclly secure against it.

DESCRIPTION
The Scarpshot was a design first seen in use by the gangs of the Tainted City, after the first few prototypes hit the streets. These prototypes where often homemade weapons, not much more than a basic slingshot attached to a rifle frame, but by the destruction left behind when groups used them in coordinated strikes made their effectiveness undeniable. After that, the idea found its way to a tinkerer affiliated with Black Flag, who instantly recognized that the idea would be useful in the creation for weapons made to be used by rebels and insurgents all over the galaxy, so exactly the kind of business Black Flag was seeking.

A number of versions were made until the final Scarpshot was created, perfecting the simple design picked up on the streets. Longer than its predecessors, the Scrapshot outmatches the homemade versions in range and precision, while remaining almost as cheap in production as them. Another important attribute of the weapon is its simplicity, which is meant to enable even small, untrained insurgent forces to use and repair the weapon, in addition to the fact that the weapon requires no special ammunition.
