  • Production: Unique
  • Affiliation: Qymaen sil Jurai and CIS

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
  • Classification: Fourth Degree
  • Weight: 1.97 m
  • Height: 130 kg

  • Armaments: Electrostaff
  • Misc. Equipment: Advanced droid components (head and chest sensors, core etc.) and two faraday cages.
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Loadout programming
  • Hand to hand programming
  • Advanced Droid Brain
  • Strengthened Silver Chest and Head Faraday Cages
  • Advanced Combat Learning Programs
  • Phrik Plating
  • Phrik Frame
  • Magnetic foot clamps
  • Head sensors
  • Reduced size chest sensor
Strengths:
  • While Magnaguards are designed for anti-melee weapon combat (primarily lightsabers), this model is designed to combat opponents even when it's staff is lost.
  • Like other Magnaguards this model is capable of continuing to fight even when it's limbs and head are lost.
  • Built with a faraday cage the model is designed to withstand electromagnetic attacks, including ion.
  • Designed differently from other droids, like B1s, B2s and B3s this model's frame is capable of extreme feats of agility, athletics and acrobatics.
  • Built with reinforced phrik plating and a phrik frame, this model is intended to participate in extended tours of combat on any field; unlike it's predecessors.
  • Model has been fitted with magnetic foot clamps to compensate for telekinetic combat by Force Users; zero gravity environments noted.
Weaknesses:
  • While this model is designed to be as capable as possible of fighting an organic individual, it lacks the creativity to come up with it's own unique battle patterns relying on previous experience and programming to perform functionally.
  • The magnetic clamps in the units feat may pose a useful effect against telekinesis but they have a potential to backfire and prevent the droid from moving should they malfunction, though that is rare.
  • While the unit does it's best to protect it's chest sensor, it's primary sensor, if it is destroyed the unit will undergo substantial failures.
  • Even with head and chest faraday cages, as a droid unit constructed of metal there is a chance of full overcharge that would render the faraday cage useless.
DESCRIPTION
The Magnaguards were a deadly resource. Proven during the Clone Wars and even during the modern era. However, while this was true, there was still room for such droids to be advanced upon. As such, under the pretense of constructing a new set of Magnaguards for the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the droid general Qymaen "Grievous" sil Jurai put forth a special design of his own for a specialized personal Magnaguard. A Magnaguard that would outclass the rest by far.

Advanced Combat Adaptation System

Tell me a little bit more about what this is.

While Phrik is virtually indestructible, like all organic materials it is still capable of being destroyed if put under enough duress.

We can remove this from the weaknessses section (that's going to be true regardless of the submission or what it's made of).

To directly quote the Wookieepedia page:

" Their internal systems were furnished with advanced combat learning programs, which, compared to most of the droids utilized by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, allowed the MagnaGuards to adapt to a highly diverse variety of tasks. "

I suppose I was trying to simplify the subject, however I realize I should have just put advanced combat learning programs. There are no links to any kind of canon systems outside of that reference in the wookiee page here.

I'm going to change it to what they're actually called as it feels more prudent to do so.
