Jonyna had taken the last 9 months to herself. The revelation of her surprise pregnancy had meant she no longer had the luxury of getting involved in the Alliance's war. Instead, she still ran the Wild Space Rebellion from home.

Home.

That was a concept she had always struggled with, even if most wouldn't notice. To those who knew her casually, one would assume home was Cathar. Jonyna often wouldn't shut up about it, after all. To those who knew her closer, one might assume home was her ship. The Reaper.

But to those who she truly considered friends, they knew the truth.

Valery Noble Valery Noble could tell you. Corazona von Ascania Corazona von Ascania could. Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el could.

Jonyna didn't have a home. She'd always been a wanderer. Cast out by destiny in favor of those who history remembers. Farmboys who's fathers were more impressive. Smugglers who stumbled into heroism. Princesses who helped the galaxy heal.

And jedi of great renown.

Jonyna herself, had never been that. Always a shadow in hiding, striking imperials and sith when it mattered, but rarely taking the spotlight. That was Val's job. She was the poster girl of the NJO. Jonyna was certain now that with the Empire rising again, her time on the Jedi Council would be remembered as yet another period of decline. Yet another time the jedi were a victim of their own hubris. yet another time of darkness.

The last few months, Jonyna had mused on that. Meditated on it with her mother, whom she increasingly felt like she was becoming. Yet another jedi exiled from a fallen order.

But with the triplets born, Jonyna knew one thing.

She wasn't too old to be a rebel.

That's what led her to standing out in the savannah of Cathar, practicing her craft. Sword and saber in hands, in the middle of a kata. Who would she find out here? Who would find her? Who knows.

One day, the galaxy would need her again. For now though, she would keep training.

If there was one thing that Sindar had heard of Cathar, it was that it was unforgiving. The sun was broiling him in his armor, and he had long since had to discard his helmet. Now though, he was finally getting to see the savannah's of the world that birthed his race. In the distance he could see it, one of the city trees, the shining beacon of civilization in a place renowned for savagery.

The Sith Trooper wasn't here to cause trouble, only to reconnect, to find himself. What he didn't know, is that he was walking through the fields that were overseen by the Si family. This was their land, and he was an intruder! So long as he laid low, there was little chance he would be accosted.

The only true issue was the black and red armor he had covering himself, the dark hues standing out like a sore thumb in the elephant grass. As he trampled a path through the high blades, there was a sense of being watched he couldn't seem to shake. Like eyes that rode upon the wind, he couldn't evade that feeling.

That sixth sense was like his spirit reaching out to something, an energy he had no idea he could access. Sindar was sensitive to the force, though he had no idea of that sensitivity. In battle it usually manifested in a minor precognition, now though, it only allowed him an unending paranoia.
