I tend to lose muse in open threads, but I am willing to try this time.

Well, there is no need for people to be uncomfortable or lose muse.

I was doing a little bit of research...what do you think of travelling to Byss and hunting for some artifact of Palpatine's? Or we could do a meet and greet on Byss, it is a Dark-Side nexus and near paradise-like habitats so it seems like the perfect place for a couple of ladies to go for a retreat...

A few tips, though I'm sure they've already been stated in some way already:
  • Sith magic is difficult and challenging, more-so because it's so rare to find anyone using it so it's just as hard to obtain information on. You'll want someone to at least help with it, even the "basics" (because the basics are still difficult for a newbie to Sith magic).
  • A master of Sith magic (and almost entirely Sith magic, as far as the force goes) is your best bet for really getting the full benefit of Sith magic and such. We have a few masters in the OS who have been almost specialists in the craft, and there are about 4-5 more across the board who rarely socialize (and likely will want to use you in return for teaching, rather than just teach it to teach).
  • Any and all self-development is going to be just as much, if not more, help as being taught by a master (unless you're comparing small threads to long ones with an actual master of the craft). Either way it'll do more benefit than hurt, and nobody can tell you what you can and cannot learn. So go crazy, just have restraint on what you wish to learn and how soon/fast/etc.
My other character, [member="Silara Kuhn"], is a Master Sith Sorceress, but I've since slid her back onto the shelf for later use - if I ever feel like writing her again.
