Resolved Question About Inactive Factions

So say a faction hasn’t been around in a while. Forum isn’t updated. Tried to reach the admin on discord and dm. Nothing.

Is it open to recreate or is it better to just wait until the staff does a purge or would it be better to just do your own thing with a new name?

If I remember correctly, I do not think the staff purges old factions.

We don't purge them.

1.) You can create a faction of the same name but need to "make it your own" as in not lifting graphics and or submissions from the previous faction. (Ex. How many Sith Order, Galactic Alliance, or Confederacy factions have existed in the last 10 years? They aren't always successor states but even if they are it's usually a new mix of staff and members.)

2.) You can start something new, free and clear.
