The Quesh is a twist on the conventional smoke grenade in that the thick smoke is also made out of poisonous substances, here Quesh venom, giving the smoke a green hue. In addition, it can be used in standard 40mm grenade launchers so that it can be fired both manually and using a dedicated grenade launcher. Thanks to its Quesh venom payload, the smoke grenade expands rapidly within ten meters of the detonation point given its explosive core. As it expands over time, Quesh venom can render the air unbreathable to oxygen-breathing organisms over an area. However, its blast radius makes it an indiscriminate weapon, meaning that, even though the blast radius is 10m, it can poison without regard to whom. Also, the further out from the detonation point, the concentration of Quesh venom is diminishing and may not affect beings as rapidly.
