Her hair is short and black, cut close to her head in a sleek pixie style, with ends done in short, piecey bangs that fall just over her brow line.

Her neck is long, slender, and elegantly proportioned. Her shoulders are narrow and delicately sloped, with a gentle curve flowing from the base of her neck outward. Her collarbones are pronounced and delicate, forming, sharp horizontal lines across her upper chest with shadowed hollows over each bone.

BIOGRAPHY
QS-022 was created by ImperiaLabs through Engineered Variance Cloning just a few weeks before the collapse of the Imperial Confederation. Flash-trained as an Imperial Stormtrooper, she was assigned to the Imperator Bulwark section of the Imperator Corps and marked for deployment to a Confederation outpost on Jabiim. Here, she was placed in a unit whose primary mission was to guard a fuel depot and atmospheric processor.

When the Confederation’s central authority crumbled, Imperial Communique #698895.76q came into effect, ordering that all Imperial military units withdraw from non-essential theaters and consolidate at three designated Fortress Worlds.

Unfortunately, QS-022’s assigned company had been marked only a single shuttle capable of atmospheric extraction and hyperspace travel. Rated to carry 40 personnel in a single lift, the shuttle was unable to accommodate the entire company, which had 90 personnel including attached support staff. In order to organize the extraction, her unit’s commander—Major Torvin—wrote and distributed a selection criteria to categorize the unit’s roster into three priority categories: essential, conditionally essential, and non-essential.

As the newest stormtrooper in the unit, QS-022 was placed in the third category.

In spite of the shuttle’s rated limit, Major Torvin made the decision to overload the shuttle to carry 66 personnel. This resulted in 24 personnel being left behind without extraction; a group entirely composed of those personnel who had been categorized as non-essential.

Major Torvin personally walked the line of those left behind, promising his unit’s remnants assurance that a logistics shuttle would arrive within 72 hours to bring them to a rally point in a second extraction wave.

The second wave never came.

The unit’s remnants maintained discipline for the first five days. The lieutenant organized watches, supply rationing, and a duty roster. However, morale cracked by the sixth day. An administrative clerk started crying during a shift change and could not stop. A soldier walked off into the rain and failed to report back.

On the seventh, eighth, and ninth days, the group suffered a large rash of desertions. On the tenth day, after announcing that he was leaving to find assistance, the lieutenant took a mechanic and one of the base’s last functioning speeder bikes and departed from the outpost. Neither returned.

The group fragmented over the next three days. Some decided to wait, while others struck out toward a known settlement 80 kilometers away. QS-022 stayed with a small group of three: two administrative clerks and one medical orderly. They decided to wait for the promised extraction, even as hope faded.

Four days after the lieutenant’s departure, a group of desperate Jabiimi civilians raided the outpost, taking food, medical supplies, and portable power cells. They ignored the remaining Imperial personnel, who were too depleted to effectively resist.

With minimal food and power, and no sign of a coming rescue, QS-022 made the decision to leave the base when the others in her small group took the base’s last remaining speeder bike. After recharging her armor with what was left of the base’s power, she walked to a coastal settlement 65 kilometers southeast in a trip that took her three days. She arrived exhausted, alone, and malnourished.

At the settlement, QS-022 found a refueling station for civilian freighters. She offered the last of her pay in exchange for food, board, and passage off-world. A Twi'lek captain, indifferent to Imperial politics and in need of cash, agreed to take her to a nearby trading hub. It was there she heard about the burgeoning Imperial Reclamation Authority. After considering her options, she made her way to the Resolute and petitioned to join the IRA Imperial Army.

However, rather than being accepted, QS-022 was promptly stripped of her stormtrooper armor and taken into custody by the Imperial Security Bureau.

TRAITS
Flash Training:
  • Foundational Knowledge and Language Imprints
    • Linguistic Matrix
      • Basic (Galactic Standard) and Imperial Basic are her primary languages, hard-wired as if they were native tongues. A foundational vocabulary in High Galactic (a more formal language used for state functions, oaths, and official documents) is also implanted to instill a sense of tradition and gravitas.
    • Historical and Civic Data-Core
      • A comprehensive, yet curated historical knowledge set centering Imperialism and the civilizing influence of true Imperial states.
        • Basic Galactic Astrography
          • Core knowledge of major trade routes, hyperlanes, and the general political layout of the galaxy, identifying the Confederation as the central, stabilizing power.
    • Scientific Fundamentals
      • Understanding of basic physics (gravity, momentum, energy), chemistry (atmospheric composition, toxins), and biology (major alien species identification, basic human physiology, first aid). This is a theoretical framework, not applied engineering.
  • Cognitive and Psycho-Social Conditioning
    • The Unity Imperative
      • The Individual Finds Purpose in the Whole. This is intended as philosophical grounding. It encourages clones to seek identity and achievement through service to the state, framing personal ambition as something that is fulfilled by contributing to the collective strength.
    • Structured Problem-Solving
      • Implanted with logical frameworks (e.g., OODA Loop: Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) and systematic troubleshooting trees. This creates a population of naturally analytical and process-oriented thinkers.
    • Adaptability and Stress Inoculation
      • Neural pathways are conditioned to remain highly plastic. Through simulated neural experiences, they are conditioned to remain functional and make rational decisions under extreme stress, loud noises, and sudden changes in the environment.
    • Aesthetic and Cultural Appreciation
      • Imprinted with an appreciation for Imperial art, architecture, and music. This notably includes styles that evoke order, power, grandeur, and discipline. This fosters a sense of cultural identity surrounding what is considered beautiful, tying it to the values of the state.
  • Physical and Neural Motor Programs
    • Neural Motor Coordination
      • Advanced fine and gross motor skills are pre-programmed. This includes balance, coordination, and the neural pathways for complex physical tasks. Clones emerge with the physical grace and control of a highly trained athlete, but must still learn specific combat forms or weapon handling.
    • Physical Regimen Protocols
      • Subconscious familiarity with calisthenics, strength training, and endurance exercises. The clone’s body can anticipate and adapt quickly to a rigorous physical routine, making basic training more about strengthening and skill-building than starting from zero.
  • Loyalty and Behavioral Conditioning
    • The Pillars of Imperial Virtue
      • The concepts of duty, discipline, order, and loyalty are embedded as core moral virtues. Acts embodying these principles trigger a subconscious positive reinforcement response.
    • Identity Imprint
      • All clones know they are vat-grown. This is not hidden. The conditioning frames this as a privilege and a purpose: they were created with a clean slate, free of the baggage of a chaotic galaxy, to build a better future. Their "birth" is in the service of the Confederation.
    • The Chain of Command as Natural Order
      • Respect for rank and structure is ingrained as a fundamental, unchangeable law of reality, similar to how one understands gravity. Questioning a lawful order is a cognitive dissonance that feels inherently wrong.
    • Threat Recognition
      • Basic, subconscious pattern recognition for behaviors labeled as seditious or chaotic. These include uncontrolled mobs, unregulated information, refusal to acknowledge authority, and various other scenarios. This creates an instinctual unease around such environments.
  • Practical and Administrative Fundamentals
    • Numeracy and Data Literacy
      • Instinctive comfort with mathematics, statistics, and the operation of standard data interfaces. Clones understand percentages, logistical scales, and basic data analysis.
    • Basic Cyber-Hygiene
      • Fundamental knowledge of information security: password protocols, recognizing phishing or malicious code attempts, and the importance of operational security (OPSEC).
    • Imperial Lexicon and Procedure
      • Knowledge of standard reporting formats, how to address superiors of different ranks, and the meaning of common alarms and ship-wide announcements.
  • Combat Fundamentals and Firearms Proficiency
    • Blaster Rifles
      • Complete familiarity with the operation, maintenance, and field-stripping of standard-issue blaster rifles. This includes power pack insertion and replacement, gas cartridge cycling, range estimation, and sight alignment.
    • Sidearms and Secondary Weapons
      • Proficiency with blaster pistols for close-quarters or emergency use. Includes draw speed, one-handed firing techniques, and malfunction clearance under stress. Basic proficiency with compact carbines and shotgun-style scatterblasters for breaching operations is also covered.
    • Heavy Weapons
      • Familiarity with crew-served and support weapon systems, including light repeaters, grenade launchers, and portable missile launchers. Includes knowledge of setup, basic targeting, ammunition feed management, and coordination with a spotter or loader.
    • Unarmed Combat and Weapon Retention
      • Motor programs for hand-to-hand combat emphasizing disabling strikes, joint manipulation, and defensive blocks against bladed and blunt weapons. Weapon retention drills are imprinted to prevent an opponent from seizing a trooper's sidearm or rifle.
  • Armor Operations and Environmental Combat
    • Stormtrooper Armor Integration
      • The armor is worn as an extension of the body. Neural pathways are conditioned for the unique weight distribution, sealed environment, and enhanced strength systems of full stormtrooper armor. Subconscious familiarity with helmet HUD toggles, oxygen scrubber activation, and magnetic boot controls ensures seamless operation.
    • Environmental Sealed Combat
      • Flash training for zero-atmosphere, underwater, toxic atmosphere, and vacuum operations. Includes monitoring internal oxygen reserves and performing emergency armor breach protocols while under fire.
    • Extreme Environment Adaptation
      • Combat conditioning for desert, arctic, jungle, urban, and low-gravity environments. The imprint provides tactical frameworks for each: heat discipline and mirage compensation in deserts, ice traction and whiteout navigation in arctic zones, close-quarters ambush patterns in urban terrain, and altered movement dynamics in low-gravity.
    • Armor Damage Control
      • Knowledge of sealing suit breaches with emergency patches, resetting overloaded helmet systems, and manually overriding locked servos or joints. The trooper can remain combat-effective even with partial armor failure.
  • Tactical Infantry Operations
    • Squad Tactics
      • Understanding and execution of fire and maneuver, bounding overwatch, and assault formations. The trooper knows their role within a given fire team. Automatic recognition of hand signals, squad leader commands, and formation adjustments under fire.
    • Urban and Close Quarters Battle (CQB)
      • Conditioning for room clearing, hallway fighting, and vertical engagement (stairwells, multi-level structures). Includes threshold evaluation, corner slicing, and coordinated breaches with ordnance.
    • Field Craft and Patrolling
      • Techniques for patrol formations (wedge, file, line), route selection, and silent movement. Imprinted knowledge of establishing patrol bases, setting security perimeters, and conducting listening posts or observation posts.
    • Land Navigation and Orienteering
      • Familiarity with compass navigation, terrain association, and map reading. The trooper can navigate without satellite or starship support, using celestial bodies, terrain features, and dead reckoning.
  • Demolitions and Breaching
    • Explosive Breaching
      • Training for the placement and detonation of shaped charges on doors, walls, hatches, and bulkheads. Includes standoff distances, fragmentation zones, and breaching procedures (place, prime, clear, detonate, assault).
    • Ordnance Handling
      • Safe handling, arming, and deployment of fragmentation grenades, thermal detonators, smoke canisters, flash-bangs, incendiary devices, and various other explosives. Includes knowledge of cook-off times, blast radii, and fragmentation patterns.
    • Improvised Demolitions
      • Recognition of common materials that can be converted into explosive devices in the field. Basic knowledge of detonator types and safe distances for unconventional breaching.
  • Combat Medicine and Survival
    • Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)
      • Field medicine imprinted for combat scenarios: tourniquet application, wound packing, chest seal placement, and airway management. The trooper is capable of treating themselves or a squadmate while under fire, prioritizing critical needs (bleeding, airway, breathing) before or during evacuation.
    • Stimulant and Antidote Administration
      • Knowledge of standard Imperial combat stimulants (pain nullifiers, focus enhancers, emergency revival compounds) and their auto-injector deployment. Recognition of common chemical weapon symptoms (nerve agents, blood agents) and immediate countermeasure administration.
    • Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE)
      • Training for survival behind enemy lines: water procurement, shelter construction, signaling for extraction, and evasion of pursuit. Includes resistance to interrogation techniques and the imperative to reveal nothing beyond designation and rank.
  • Vehicle and Transport Familiarity
    • Ground Vehicle Operations
      • Basic proficiency with standard Imperial troop transports (personnel carriers, light assault vehicles). Covers driver controls, embarkation and disembarkation drills, and firing from a moving vehicle.
    • Combat Drops and Orbital Insertion
      • Conditioning for atmospheric and orbital drops via landing craft, boarding pods, or atmospheric insertion vehicles. Includes managing the physical stress of rapid descent, Imperial Military drop sequences, and immediate action drills upon landing.
    • Walker Familiarization
      • Understanding of the interior layout, mounting and dismounting procedures, and emergency egress from standard Imperial walkers. While not a driver, the trooper can operate as a passenger or dismount element and knows the walker's blind spots and protection zones.
  • Psychological Warfare and Counter-Insurgency
    • Psychological Operations (PSYOPS) Awareness
      • Recognition of common enemy propaganda, deception tactics, and morale operations. The trooper is conditioned to resist surrender appeals, false truce offers, and attempts to exploit fear or fatigue.
    • Civil Control and Crowd Management
      • Protocols for checkpoint operations, identification verification, and the graduated use of force from presence to lethal. Includes recognition of hostile agitators within a crowd and techniques for separating combatants from non-combatants.
    • Insurgency Counter-Measures
      • Pattern recognition for ambush indicators (IED placement signs, surveillance, unusual activity in civilian areas), booby trap identification, and the importance of winning civilian trust through disciplined, proportionate force rather than indiscriminate violence.
  • Loyalty and Unit Cohesion
    • Squad Above Self
      • Reinforcement of the Unity Imperative at the squad level. The trooper is conditioned to view the survival and success of their immediate fire team as intrinsically linked to their own. Acts of self-sacrifice for the squad trigger subconscious positive reinforcement.
    • Stormtrooper Armor as Identity
      • The stormtrooper armor is not merely protective equipment; it is the face of Imperialism across the galaxy. The imprint reinforces that enemies fear the white armor, allies take heart from it, and the wearer is its living embodiment. Damage to the armor is a personal affront; allowing it to fall into enemy hands is an unthinkable failure.
    • Legacy and Esprit de Corps
      • Imprinting of the Stormtrooper Corps' legacy as the elite shock troops of the Imperial Military. The trooper knows they are not merely infantry; they are the spear that breaks the shield of the enemy. This pride in service is balanced with humility before rank and respect for non-Stormtrooper Imperial forces.
STRENGTHS
  • Light Resilience: The perpetual daylight of Hapes has left the Hapan species with poor night vision but exceptional tolerance for bright environments. Thus, QS-022 is fully combat-effective in conditions that would force non-Hapans to squint or shield their eyes.
  • Stress Inoculation: QS-022’s flash-conditioning included simulated neural experiences designed to harden her against extreme stress, loud noises, sudden environmental changes, and sensory overload. She remains functional and rational when others would curl into fetal positions or flee blindly. As a result, she maintains the same level of accuracy when firing a weapon in live combat as she does when firing it on a range. Fear registers in her awareness, but it does not command her.
  • Subconscious Logistics: Numbers, ratios, and resource limits process automatically in QS-022’s mind. She can track ammunition counts, power levels, and supply duration without conscious calculation. This allows her to make efficient decisions under pressure, extending limited resources further than conventional personnel could manage.
  • Perfect Coordination: Pre-programmed fine and gross motor skills give QS-022 the grace and control of a trained athlete at the peak of their discipline. She does not fumble, trip, or hesitate in physical tasks. Her body responds to her intentions instantly, whether firing a rifle, sealing an armor breach, or navigating unstable terrain.
  • Snap Decision: The OODA Loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) is baked into QS-022’s decision-making process. She does not freeze or panic when confronted with novel problems. Instead, she systematically processes new information, adjusts her orientation, commits to a decision, and acts without paralyzing self-doubt.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Social Framework: Having been decanted, cryo-preserved, and awakened directly into military service, QS-022 has no experience with civilian life, non-military social structures, or informal interpersonal relationships. She can follow protocol but struggles with unscripted social situations, humor, flirting, or reading emotional subtext.
  • Social Underdevelopment: QS-022’s flash training provided functional language and protocols, but no genuine social experience. As a result, she struggles with understanding sarcasm, reading subtle emotional cues, or navigating complex interpersonal dynamics. Her interactions are literal and procedural, which can make her seem cold, strange, or untrustworthy to naturally born personnel.
  • Night Blindness: In dim lighting or darkness, QS-022’s vision will degrade significantly. She is nearly blind in complete darkness. As a result, she relies heavily on helmet sensors and HUD enhancements to compensate, but electronic countermeasures or power loss could render her combat-ineffective at night.
  • Compulsive Honestly: Lying causes QS-022 measurable psychological discomfort. She can omit information or frame truths carefully, but direct deception triggers her conditioning's reward systems negatively. Interrogators who know how to ask the right questions will find her a poor liar, since she cannot easily fabricate convincing falsehoods under pressure.
  • Delayed Stress Manifestation: QS-022 functions well during crises precisely because her stress response is delayed. The price of her programmed resolve is paid later. After the immediate danger passes, her body and mind may collapse into exhaustion, tremors, or dissociative episodes. She is reliable in the moment but unreliable in the aftermath.
