Misc. Equipment:

Description: The QQ-4R65 Repulsortank is designed primarily for operation against personnel and lighter vehicles.

(-) Main weapons emplacement may not be strong enough to handle the armor of command walkers and main battle tanks without sacrificing speed for concentrated, more accurate fire.
(-) Most secondary and tertiary weapon options are also not suitable for anti-armor usage at any range.
(-) Optional grenade launcher is not loaded with high-explosive or thermal detonator rounds to minimize risk of sympathetic detonation, lessening lethality; the launcher prioritizes gas, shrapnel, etc.
(+) Though not the fastest hovertank ever fielded, the QQ-4R65 is plenty quick.
(+) The QQ-4R65 is well-defended for its size: cage armor prematurely detonates incoming shells, anti-spalling coating greatly reduces casualties from discarding sabot impacts, and sloped plating increases effective thickness against horizontal impact. An emergency deflector shield with ray and particle components can be engaged, so long as the weapons do not fire.
(-) The emergency shield generator can function for a maximum of five minutes, and is vulnerable to burnout if the tank is introduced to other vehicles or physical structures, because the particle shield component cannot compensate for, say, trees.
(-) However, the QQ-4R65 is not a main battle tank, and its armor is not especially heavy. It is a relatively easy kill for command walkers that can hit the dang thing.
(+) The QQ-4R65 can be outfitted with a wide variety of weapons which work well against armored infantry and low-to-midsize vehicles. Of special note is its option to incorporate scaled-up Ssi-Ruuvi paddle beam technology. While very short-ranged, the Ssi-Ruuvi antipersonnel paralysis beam cannons are mostly unaffected by deflector shields and all but the heaviest armor.
(-) Conversely, these optional beams have no effect against electronics, droids, or armor. An even shorter-range area-of-effect optional null-burst projector with a limited 60o forward fire arc has similar advantages and disadvantages.

Primary Source: Loosely based on this.

I like how well put together and detailed this is.

If you could though, for the sake of those who might use this as their own basis for a tank or who might be curious enough to learn, perhaps include links to some manner of explanation of the cage armor and anti-spalling coating. That would help prevent confusion and might help others learn a thing or two.
