OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 72 standard galactic years
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
  • Species: Muun
  • Appearance: A tall Muun, standing on 2,1 meters of height, Qanatain has a slender build and pale skin. His eyes are icy blue, and a face that makes him look stern most of the time. As with most Muuns, it is hard for other species to tell their age, but for his own species, Qanatain would look his age. Qanatain wears expensive clothes most of the time, not afraid to show his wealth, often appearing in a black, fancy tuxedo.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Qanatain Xopsaloff
  • Loyalties: Primarily himself, secondarily the DireX Board and the Banking Clan
  • Wealth: Extremly rich
  • Notable Possessions: Death Monger (personal flagship), The First Bank of Denon (compnay owned by him)
  • Skills:
    • Manipulation
    • Economies
    • Management
  • Personality: Manipulative. Qanatain uses every chance he gets to lure people to fall in debt to him. He is also quite smart and strategic. Some would call him cold and emotion-less, duo to him not feeling remorse in extorting people and forcing them into his service when they can't pay their debt. Others would call him a coward, since he always gets others to do the dirty jobs, though that couldn't be further from the truth.

COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice: His wits, and using other people. If that doesn't work, a small holdout blaster he keeps hidden inside his jacket.
  • Combat Function: In a fight, Qanatain would try to manipulate his adversaries, or might simply bribe them. If there are multiple combatants, he would try to pit them against each other, and make his escape (and later hire someone to take revenge).

Strengths:
  • Banking Clan – Duo to his ancestry in the Intergalactic Banking Clan, Qanatain is excessivly rich, and uses this money to get people in his debt.
  • Manipulative - Qanatain is a smooth talker, and is capable of making most people do as he wants by manipulating them.
  • In a pinch - Qanatain is able to procure the needed funds in a short amount of time for those who need it (though he always makes sure they pay back)

Weaknesses:
  • Coward – Qanatain, like a lot of Muuns, is rather cowardly when it comes to fighting, and would rather manipulate his way out of things than fight.
  • Dispised – Qanatain is both the most loved and hated member of the DireX board, and it has earned him a lot of enemies over the years. Thus, he often has to rely on other people to do his business, while he himself keeps out of the public eye.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Born on the cold Outer-Rim world Scipio, to the wealthy family Xopsaloff, was the man who would one day rule as a key member of the DireX board on Denon. His family was of the upper class in the Muun society, so the young Qanatain was from an early age tutored in the ways of the Banking Clan. The Banking Clan was not as strong as it once had been, with the Plague greatly reducing it's reach, but it still came with excessive riches and status. And the young Qanatain had decided he wanted it.

As a young man, Qanatain had come in good favour with most of the leaders of the Banking Clan, even with the chairman. His parents had from a very young age taught him how the game worked, that he had to be smart, manipulative, use people, to get where he wanted. And when Qanatain reached adulthood, he had mastered it. So when the chairman of the Intergalactic Banking Clan was seeking new representatives to further their interests in the wider galaxy, Qanatain was the first to be asked. The planet they had in mind for him was Denon, a cityplanet, not too unlike Coruscant, though smaller in size and less known. Xopsaloff accepted the offer, cause he saw Denon for what it was: a planet where he could properly establish himself, ripe for the taking by stronger individuals like himself.

Once on Denon, he quickly got acquainted with the corporate leaders there. From there, it didn't take long before he was offered a seat on the DireX board, as a leader among the Corporate Authorities on Denon. The other members often came to him if they had problems with money, or they needed something done without it being traced back to them, which Xopsaloff always managed to do through his connection to the Banking Clan, or directly by hiring or bribing the right people. This earned him a good reputation. But soon after, he would recieve a new reputation, one quite different. Cause when it came to paying back what was due, Qanatain always made sure it was done properly. When people refused, or were unable to pay back, he was not above using blackmail or hired goons to get what was his. The members fo the DireX board who had liked him now began to dispise this side of him. But they often found they had no choice but to use what he had to offer.

As time went on, Xopsaloff established several banks across Denon, and he eventually gained monopoly on the banks there. His workers respected the man leading them, for managing to have complete control over Denon's economics. They began calling him the Bursar of Denon.

In recent times, the ever-growing cyber-terrorist group Darkwire, has been a thorn in Qanatain's side, as well as for the other leaders of the DireX board. Several of Qanatain's projects have been foiled by the group, and he has lost unknown amounts of money because of this. Still, he tolerates the prescence of the group, if only because they can often be helpful as hired mercenaries of someone needs to be silenced.

Pretty nifty. Just a couple of things:

Imgur is not a viable citation on its own. Unfortunately, if the original image cannot be found, a different image will have to be used.
