Intent: To provide a Semi-Advanced battlefield datapad/utility tool
Development Thread:
Manufacturer: Haor Chall Engineering/Santhe Corp (advising)
Model: Q55 MultiTool
Affiliation: Public
Modularity: Projectile Attachment
Production: Mass
Material: Light Armor Weave
Description: The Q55 Multi Tool was created to offer a new range of wearable tech for use on the battlefield, and beyond. As a new releases from Haor Chall Engineering, they are being advised by Santhe Corporation engineers to see just how far Haor Chall can push the limits of their offerings. Designed to be equally useful for soldiers, both professional contractors and military, as well as operatives, the primary function of this unit is to provide a forearm mounted datascreen, holographic display for messages, as well as a visor mounted camera, range finder, flashlight and geographic locator. The visor and the forearm mounted computer will link wirelessly to store/display data. The unit will connect to any available wireless HoloNet system in order to give the camera full functionality of identifying flora, fauna, mineral, weapons and starships that are on publically available networks.

Additionally, the Q55A is an advanced model that has an extra attachment on the wrist unit that can allow for a range of dart tools to be used including a tracking bug, poison dart, exploding dart, piton attached to a 75 foot cable designed for the wearer’s body and gear weight, other offerings include a cable to break into low security computers (think Star Wars USB cable with a brute force password cracking program, obviously it won't break any major systems, ever, and will take time to do breaks in the same vein as R2-D2 does), a low energy electromagnetic pulse or an electromagnet. Only one of these options may be selected per unit.
